The lodge itself was excellent – very clean, comfortable beds, a great shower, and a lovely kitchen/living area. We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only disappointment was the hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we booked. When we arrived at 4pm, the water temperature was only 21°C and, despite waiting until around 10pm, it was still only in the high 20s. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn't use it on our first evening and had to wait until the following morning. Second stay in the same lodge and again couldn’t fault. Beautiful views, and a very well equipped lodge
The stay was comfortable but a bit tight for 6 people, as the stay doesn't have much storage for luggage. But the location, ambience and availability of fresh farm produce makes up for any deficiency. The hot tub and dark sky experience was good.
Such a lovely place to stay , beautiful views , the pods are so comfortable clean and well equipped and so quiet, will definitely be back again .
