I booked a long weekend stay in Ambleside through Tarn & Fell escapes and my expectations were thoroughly exceeded.
Prior to our stay I had a few questions about the property and Ross could not have been more helpful. He was happy to help with any query I had and it made the booking process and our stay much more enjoyable.
I was particularly impressed with the location of the property, it was situated right in the town centre of Ambleside which was perfect as we visited on a very busy bank holiday weekend, so it made things a lot more convenient that we could walk 5 mins from the property and be right in the town centre.
Upon arrival, we found that the flat was beautifully decorated, presented and most of all, clean. The host had also left us Easter eggs as we visited on Easter weekend which I thought was a lovely surprise.
The property had great facilities that gave it a cosy feel, such as a nespresso coffee machine which we loved!
One of the days during our stay we had exceptional weather and we discovered the harbour was just a short 15 mins walk from the property, so we were able to enjoy a lovely pub garden with a lake view that day.
We had a wonderful stay visiting Ambleside for the first time and we wanted to give a huge thanks to Ross for making it a memorable experience with his beautiful property. We will definitely be returning in the summer!

Excellent accommodation- light and airy with wonderful views. Very well equipped and comfortable. The parking is a valuable bonus in Ambleside which together with its location ( easy short walk into Ambleside) makes it a superb place to stay. Communication with Ross the owner was fast, reliable and helpful.

There is not a single thing we can fault with this flat. High standard of decor and furnishings which were very much to my own taste. Very clean, and everything you could want in the kitchen if you wish to cook including complimentary tea, coffee etc. Superb views being on the second floor, location great for nearby places to eat, buses walks etc. Booked direct with Tarn and Fell Escapes who are very helpful. Would love to return some time in the future. Highly recommend .

The perfect little flat in a great location! The flat was super clean and comfortable and the host was extremely responsive.
Ambleside is a lovely town and it was easy to get Keswick and Windermere too.
Highly recommend this flat!

Fantastic stay in this top floor apartment which has recently been renovated. Very well equipped with everything you could think of to enjoy your stay. Excellent location in the heart of Ambleside with lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Would highly recommend.
