Fabulous stay for a family of four generations. Best hide and seek we've ever had. Gardens are stunning loved 'foggy bottom ' and we thought we saw fairies there!
We had a very enjoyable stay in the sunset glamping tent. Having previously owned a traditional bell tent i was pleased to be in the onion shaped one as there is significantly more head room. The bed was very large and very comfortable and the furnishings good. I understand the composting toilet but as you're sharing with other glampers didn't really appreciate it. Also think a proper shower facility would be good. All in all though for an overnight stay to attend a wedding it was very pleasant.
The overall experience was very good, with the venue and beautiful surrounding gardens providing an excellent backdrop for the event and subsequent celebrations. The glamping accommodation was suitable for the short term stay, although we did (with assistance of friends) take some time to locate the tent and it amenities. Also the tent did not have the previously advised 'security' lock and when returning in the evening the lighting on the paths was not fully functional. Otherwise, as noted the overall experience was very positive.
