Peace, comfort, beautifully quiet. Totally relaxed home from home. Sue was the perfect host, welcoming shortbread delicious. Lovely views. Butterflies, robin, breakfast in the garden. Excellent comfortable beds, good artwork and thoughtful touches.
We have stayed in numerous self catering holiday venues over a number of years, in Dorset ,Norfolk,Somerset and the Lake District but Hendersyde farm cottages are the best. And we have stayed in all of them over recent years. Situated in the lovely Scottish Borders near to the Historic town of Kelso with so many interesting places to visit within easy reach. If you are looking for good food then there are plenty of place to snack and dine. I can only recommend that you try to visit Hendersyde farm Holiday Cottages and see for yourself. I should be surprised if you didn't enjoy the experience.
We had a fantastic stay at Millsyde. It is so spacious and comfortable. Sue has thought of everything you could possibly need. Amazing kitchen and such comfortable beds and bed linen. It’s the little touches that make it such a special place. The first morning a barn owl flew right up to me at dawn. It is the most peaceful place and yet easy access to Kelso and the surrounding area. We love it and can’t wait to come back again. I didn’t really want to leave to be honest and would happily have stayed a few more weeks!
