Our mid week stay at Dinky Daze was just what we needed to unwind.
A lovely well appointed property well furnished and equipped to a very high standard .
We will be coming back for a longer stay next year if I had one criticism and "I do mean if " is that for a longer stay a washing machine would be a nice addition to the bait room .

Delightful little place in an excellent location. We were surprised by how clean and well presented it was. For late October it was also snug and the log burner kept us warm. View from the patio was stunning and despite the salt issues in the river, we still managed to catch a fair few perch of a decent size. We had been warned about the flooding of the drive way so had wellies and this only added to the fun. Although be warned if walking to the pub that the roads also flood which we weren't as prepared for haha! Highly reccomend the pub for a Sunday roast and the Indian in the high street was also delicious.
The only thing that would make Dinky daze even better is if the bed was a king size and less temperamental. Everytime one of us rolled over the drawers underneath rolled open!
In terms of value for money, you're paying for being on the broads!

It's great to hear that you managed to catch a number of decent perch! Thank you for being so understanding about the flooding we experienced on the weekend you were here. Being on the tidal River Yare in the Broads, flooding only tends to happen when there’s unusually high water or stormy weather further out, as you experienced. Most of the time, access is perfectly fine, but we always like to give guests a heads-up when we're updated that it's likely. It had all disappeared on the Monday so no wellies have been required after that :D Dinky Daze is being closed for 2 weeks mid November in order to raise the drive-way and the area around to the bait fridge shed so this will definitely help as and when the tides get naughty. Thanks for the heads-up about the bed drawers, we'll get that looked at. We appreciate you choosing Dinky Daze for your weekend away and we do hope to welcome you back in the future.

Dinky Daze is a fantastic place to stay it’s got all home comforts and everything you need very clean and tidy great views of the river where you can watch the boats and wildlife and enjoy a spot of fishing would definitely recommend and will be booking again

Dinky Daze is a comfortable lodge for 2. Nice easy access to the lodge with direct car parking at the lodge. We liked the simplicity of the facilities. No clutter, just all the things you need and no more. Clean loo and shower, comfortable bed. The river frontage has enough seating and the lodge is nice and level ( two steps in only ). If you like to travel into Norwich or Yarmouth for a day out then it’s just a short walk to the train station. Train is easy route and you don’t have to worry about city centre parking.

Beautifully laid out and immaculately clean and comfortable chalet. Perfect self catering accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to another visit soon.

We liked the fact we could choose between a full week or shorter stays of three or four days, giving us a great mini break option. Perfect place for couples to stay.

Dinky Daze is a beautiful lodge, both inside and out. It is fully equipped with everything that you could need. Fishing from the deck was brilliant and the customer service that we received from Tina and the team was exceptional. We have already booked a return with Norfolk Holiday Lodges and have no doubt that we will be booking Dinky Daze many times in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough.
