We book annually a holiday home in Brixham, this was our first in Driftwood. What can I say, it feels like almost every window has a spectacular view, the decor was immaculate and the place spotlessly clean. The simulated fire was a really nice touch and the lounge and kitchen in general just fabulous. The same applied to the upper bathroom.

Two points of caution, parking in Brixham is notorious and that includes North View area. With a bit of ingenuity we managed to get an iPace into the moderately sized garage but anything bigger, no chance. The second is steps, you don’t get the spectacular views without a bit of a climb from the harbour, perhaps an issue for those less mobile.

All in all though, a spectacular holiday home and highly recommended.

The current owners have done the most amazing job with the changes they made and it really does make the most of it's location. Parking is like gold dust in Brixham and although the garage as you say is not large. We hope to see you again soon.

We had a lovely family holiday here. Really comfy beds and sofas and well equipped. Loved the bright airy kitchen and living area with the stunning views of the marina and harbour. Loved Brixham and the surrounding area and if you like fresh fish this is the place to come!!

Very high quality standard of property. Well equipped and very comfortable. The views are superb. You need to be fit as location is high up so negotiating steps is essential and the property is on several levels.

Beautiful house with amazing views over Torbay. Could have been a little cleaner on arrival as there were quite a few cobwebs but didn’t spoil the stay.

House was lovely. Very clean beautifully decorated,beds were comfortable,views were amazing .This is my fourth year visiting Brixham
I love it .splashed out this year as my daughter had just finished uni,would love to visit driftwood again but not sure I could justify paying over £1300 for one week

Loved our stay here and we were sad to leave. Immaculate house with great views of Brixham. Perhaps not for the less mobile but we didn’t mind the walk up and down to the town. Didn’t manage to figure out the freeview on the TV and maybe instructions would be helpful but we were happy with the views.

Nice location with beautiful views but there are few issues which left us quite unhappy...

1. There were dog hair all over the floor in the living and kitchen area confirming that a proper cleaning was not done.

2, No Shower gel or shampoo.... I am quite sure that I was given a different information on the phone..! you spend so much money, only to find out that some basic facilities were not provided.

3. I was told that access floor had twin beds which was not the case and my old parents had to negotiate was several stairs which was not nice.

4. Access and parking is a huge issue if you driving a big car or van. Nearby car park as suggested by the company is quite far and paid. It is a massive task to walk uphill after parking the car downhill.

Nevertheless, area is nice and property is in good condition.

When you contacted the office we were not made aware that there was an issue with the cleaning, we can't respond or ask the housekeeper to re-attend if we are not informed. 2. None of our properties provide this, so there is no way this could even happen in error. 3. We are a local team and know the property well and the layout is also detailed clearly on the website. 4. It is explained that the internal garage would not fit a small or medium car On-the-road parking on the streets above the property is always suggested first. I have every confidence that my colleague would have clearly explained the layout of the property. Including the fact that it may not be an ideal property or location for your parents given their limited mobility. I am pleased however that you enjoyed the wonderful views from the property and Brixham.

We all enjoyed our stay at Driftwood. It has been stylishly updated and the sofas especially are oh so cosy
The views from the lounge diner are second to none- truly spectacular and hard to step away from! And the bird life in/around the terraces is SO enjoyable.
Parking is nigh on impossible outside the property ( we avoided using the garage as it was a very tight space).
Guests also need to be aware of steep hill/steps to and from if relying on getting about on foot. Def kept us for

Would be helpful if a couple of clothes airers were made available and also that the tv could be fully connected - we could only tune into parts of it (iplayer) - my elderly mum would have benefitted from being able to watch live terrestrial tv on the rainy days.
