This was our first stay in brixham at poppin, found booking with my brixham holiday simple and good communication, found apartment lovely and tidy, very functional and excellent view of the harbour, Free parking in with booking was added bonus and only 400 yards away. Had absolutely fabulous holiday and will return to poppin next year.
Such a fantastic property, it’s very spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Fabulous views from the balcony’s and terraces. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this property and will definitely be back

Very nice well equipped apartment with splendid views across Brixham marina and Torbay. It is just a short (ten minute) walk around the Marina and the Harbour to the centre of Brixham. Breakwater beach is 300 yards away. Berry Head country park is a 30 minute walk along the south west coast path. The apartment features four rooms. An entrance hallway, double bedroom, bathroom and an open plan kitchen / living room. Kitchen has a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge (with ice box at the top). The house is in a great position just out of town, with an amazing view. It was well-equipped and clean, however the decor and furnishings are dated and tired. The dining room area going into the kitchen feels damp and gloomy and would benefit from a cupboard to house the stair gate, high chair and other bits. The kitchen bin should be no-touch i.e. pedal or swing lid. We felt unable to use the top bedroom as getting up in the night was going to mean putting lights on in order to negotiate the steep stairs down to the bathroom. Stunning spacious well equipped modern apartment with the most stunning views from the balcony over Brixham. We have been holidaying at Brixham for many years and this is the nicest apartment yet. Two big double bedrooms and both with en-suite. Really well equipped kitchen. Stunning balcony which we utilised on our visit. It is up a steep set of steps but this is normal for Brixham and expected to get such stunning views. Our second visit to 3 Ocean Gate did not disappoint. We were accompanied by grandchildren who had not visited before and they asked at the end of the week if they could come back. An enjoyable holiday for all the family. Our only comment is that one of our party suffers from asthma and was unduly affected by air fresheners left around the house. We had to move them outside to resolve the effects.
Excellent location in Fishcombe Cove. Kitchen is well equipped with cutlery and crockery and very useful items such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, salt and pepper. The bath towels which were provided were a good size and quality. And there's a drying rack in the cupboard. There was a set of binoculars, which were very useful for looking at the boats on the bay. Very nice and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The parking is free but the car park is about a half mile up a hill to park your car so if you need daily access it could be a problem. However if like us you park your car and leave it all week and use the local buses it is ok. Stairs to apartment are a little tricky if you are not very mobile and could do with a new carpet. This is a beautiful place to stay with the most amazing views. It is comfortable and well appointed. It is off some steep steps, so not a choice for some perhaps. Overall, I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The property itself has all (if not more) that we need for a "home from home" long break, literally everything, from the comfort of the furnishings, the "White Goods", the ambience, the faultless position overlooking Torbay, the security of the location and parking, to a bottle opener and a pool/bar football/air hockey table for rainy nights in, everything is provided! Situated "on" the Coastal Path with all the access and enjoyment that affords, to being just a 15 minute walk into Brixham and all that provides, from boat trips looking for Dolphins to some excellent eateries catering for most...more
Great location close to beach and shops with free parking, clean accommodation but would like larger bath towels
Our second visit to Midships and again it was lovely. the position overlooking the harbour is perfect and very quiet. we maybe could have done with more detail as to where the front door is - I had forgotten and had to call Steve. Also if I'm being honest we thought the seat cushions could do with a boost - more filling/replacement but this is a lovely flat with everything we needed and very clean. also a working outside light over the front door would be helpful think it was just needing a new bulb. We'll keep recommending to our friends.
Very comfortable cottage, well equipped. Beautiful views. Oven very noisy. Stairs very steep. Overall excellent cottage. Will stay again.
Overall great apartment with a excellent view jst a shame about a few things especially the cleanliness, there was a lot of dust and also mold on the floor in the bathroom which we ended up cleaning are selves,the apartment could do with a bit of tlc the windows didn't shut properly and the plug in the shower was blocked causing it to flood which I also unblocked.for the positives its it a well equipped,spacious apartment with comfortable bed and furniture,good kitchen and the balcony was my favourite with its excellent view

Sandpiper is set in a lovely location . We like The Cove as a complex and have been before .Peaceful great views . The heated swimming pool is a bonus . The apartment had everything you needed . Sofas were comfy tv and WiFi worked . Oven was efficient . The shower and water pressure were great . The bed for us was a little hard . Did appreciate the blinds as they kept the room dark . The table and chairs outside needed a little tlc but the cushions were new and made up for this. Great walks from your doorstep . cove and the cafe were great . Just out of the bottom gate . We have stayed in Brixham twice a year for 20 + years and this property was the best we have ever had, parking, view and the owners were so lovely and kind. Biscuits and brew making on hand on arrival and the means to put the dishwasher and washer on straight away. We are moving to Brixham ourselves so will deffo recommend this property for the visitors Lovely home to have for a few weeks Thank you
We booked a last minute stay at Driftwood for the location and views and it didn't disappoint. We'd researched the area and were aware of the parking situation (we managed to get our car in the garage but were prepared not to be able to) and that it would be a steep walk down and back to the harbour. It was fantastic to be able to watch the comings and goings in the harbour and marina and be able to walk to so many restaurants and along the coast path. Beautiful, peaceful location and only a short walk along the coastal path into Brixham. Apartment has a well equipped kitchen, and a good sized balcony with gorgeous sea views. However, the balcony would be even better with a short screen to block the sightline into the apartment in front.
Absolutely spotless apartment with parking directly outside. Lovely area to walk around and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony (whilst it was raining) enjoying the view.
