We booked our stay as a treat for our honeymoon with our two young kids. Unfortunately due to a storm we were left with no electricity. While we understand that this is out with the control of the owners the running water is pumped by an electric pump and it meant that for the first nearly 24 hours we had no running water as well as electricity and as had to vacate the property for an entire day.
When we reached out regarding this we feel we have been let down with no adequate resolution and ourselves out of pocket.
As a result we would not recommend this property

This was our second stay at Glenmore Lodge. It is a lovely property and furnished to a luxurious level. It has everything that you would require for your holiday. On entry the Lodge was spotless and wonderfully clean. The icing on the cake was the provision of an illuminated and decorated Christmas tree which added an extra sparkle. We must thank the staff that clean and care for Glenmore Lodge for the extraordinary job they do.

Very clean, very comfortable, no complaints. We had a fantastic stay with no problems. I will book this lodge again.

Beautiful lodge but there were a few things that just didn't hit the mark. There were no extra towels or robes for using the hot tub, or plastic glasses to use around the hot tub. There was also no table or space ro put drinks or anything at the hot tub. There was no extra bedding or blankets. The house was clean but they hadn't down above arm height and there were tonnes of spiders and spider webs. So while it was beautiful and I enjoyed my stay, I think for the money these small things aren't big to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenmore Lodge. The Lodge was warm cosy and luxuriously furnished. It had everything we needed and then some. The views to the Castle are lovely. The Lodge is in an excellent location and within easy reach of local attractions. We will be back.

First stay here and the accommodation is superb feeling very luxurious - everything is done to a high standard with extremely nice furnishings. The location is fantastic with views of the castle from the sofa and the added bonus of a hot tub. We will definitely return at some point soon.

Beautiful cottage renovated to a high standard. Very comfortable and lots of space - we will be recommending it to friends and family. Grounds very well kept.
