This holiday home was just perfect for us.It was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The garden was enjoyed by our 2 year old grandson. The location is ideal . We had great weather which was a bonus. Would love to return.
We all had a terrific time at Muckrach house as it is such a wonderful place. Decoration is fantastic, facilities outstanding and the beds were super comfortable. There were 6 children with us and they didn’t want to leave. All in all, we thoroughly the house.
We had a special week at Drum Cottage. It is located remotely in a truly magical setting. The cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival, beds are super comfy with crisp fresh linens, and fluffy towels. We saw red squirrels, buzzards, a red kite, and lots of birds in the garden. When we had a small issue, the housekeeper was very prompt to respond and it was resolved quickly which was excellent. I’d highly recommend a stay here, beautiful cottage, glorious setting with incredible views.
Beautiful house and gardens. Great stay with friends. Well equipped, everyone welcoming and peaceful location. Easy communication with the host. Any queries we had were kindly accommodated. Nice to be able to bring our dog to stay. The weather was wet when we were there so the boot room/porch was appreciated. That said we did find many feet make a mess in the kitchen easily. Comfortable beds and cosy property. Sorry - we set the fire alarm off when cooking but great to see people cared and came to look out for us!
We had a wonderful week at Coorie Lodge. The house was modern and more spacious than we expected and was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views across the golf course and the cairngorm mountains. The games room in the garage gave the children plenty to do when we were not out and about. Having the Speyside way on our doorstep meant we could just nip out for quick walks and bike rides in the mornings and evenings around the main activities of the day. Writing to say thank you. We had 15 adults and 16 kids (ages 3 to 10) and found Gulabin Lodge an excellent experience to have such a gathering. The house and grounds provide ample space for games for the children. The kitchen was well stocked. The firepit was a hit and captivated everyone. We were in easy reach of local walks. Nothing was a problem for Helen and Tim and they created a relaxed atmosphere for us to have a wonderful weekend.
This is a beautiful place, and so well equipped with everything you need. We all enjoyed our week celebrating a special birthday with all the family. Perfect to visit Aviemore and plenty for the kids of all ages. Thank you so much.

We came and spent an Easter week at Stables & loved it. We have a 7 year old & a golden retriever who’s 18 months & they LOVED the garden. It was perfect. Really safe & enclosed for both to run around. The house was lovely & clean. We think it would be fine for family of 6 but not 6 adults. There was lots rooms for us & team had thought of everything in kitchen for us to have. We went for lovely walks through forest each day. We even saw a pinemartin one evening while lying in bed. We would highly recommend this cottage.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Glenfeshie House. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen, es war toll mit den vielen Zimmern und Badezimmern. War immer warm Wasser da und genug Holz für den Ofen in der Stube. Ein unvergessliches Erlebniss so mitten in der Natur Ferien zu machen.
Really enjoyed our time at Suidhe lodge. The house is very well equipped with extremely comfy beds & the hot tub was an added bonus. It was a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring the Cairngorms. We enjoyed the Suie bar next door and access to the cycle paths nearby. Easy cycle to the Boathouse for dinner. Landmark is a must visit for families - our young teenagers were entertained all day there. Hope to return to Suidhe lodge again!
This is the 2nd time staying here and we loved it as we did before. Location and views are excellent. We will definitely stay again.
Only issue was that some of the showers were very poor. Some guests had almost no water pressure and others ran warm and cold.
We had a fantastic time in Forest Trail Lodge. It is perfectly located in the village of Nethy Bridge with an abundance of walks around the area. The house itself was ample room for us all and felt like a ‘home from home’. We found the app highly useful, both before and during our stay. There was a problem with the heating and hot water during our first night, however Audra was incredibly helpful and communicative about everything too. This was sorted very quickly and did not hinder a wonderful stay! Thank you!
Accommodation fulfilled all our expectations. Would happily recommend this venue. Ideal for our family of 12.
This is our second year staying at Balvattan Farmhouse, once again we were not let down, From the booing to the ore departure. I had to call the maintenance team fir an issue that came, the response was very quick and very professional. 5 In our party there's 10 of us, everyone loved the Farmhouse, so much room and everything was to hand, everything you want it is a case of tune up with your suitcase and food, We have no negatives to report back and we will be booking for next year this morning. This was our third time staying at Pine Ridge Lodge and we all love it here. The house is so comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a week away. Location is perfect and we hope to be back for many more years to come!
We had a fantastic stay exploring the Cairngorms from this location. The house is perfectly positioned for accessing Aviemore and the Rothiemurchus estate, Loch Morlich, Loch Uaine and the funicular uo to the Ptarmigan top station, with further trips by car up to Loch Ness, Inverness, Balmoral and the wider Cairngorms park. The house itself is well equipped, with a hot tub and sauna that are well maintained. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. We attended Drum Lodge to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday. The lodge was excellent. With a mixed age range from 80 to 3yrs, the property was perfect. All the facilities, bedrooms, kids play area, fireplaces, kitchen, seating areas were great. Our only comment would be to provide some plastic (child friendly) plates etc as the stone floors could cause breakages for the little ones The indoor BBQ was not available to use which was a disappointment but the other kitchen facilities enabled us to adjust our plans. Arriving just as Storm Dave set in, we were very happy to find the isolated Laggandhu very warm and comfortable. The kitchen is well organised and easy to work in. The lounge is toasty warm and cosy. Also the bedrooms are comfortably arranged. Firm beds and clean bed linen. The bathroom is nicely spacious and clean, as well as the first floor shower being ideal. Enjoying the outstanding snowy views from the hot tub in the snow is a special experience. We enjoyed our family holiday in this lovely cottage. There were six of us and we had plenty of room and lots of storage for everyone. We used the hot tub and barbecue hut many times. It’s in a great location for exploring the surrounding area and lovely walks on the doorstep. There were a couple of issues such as lots of the mugs in the kitchen could do with being replaced as they were cracked/chipped.The driveway up to the cottage needs attention as it is very uneven and awkward. It wasn’t clear from the arrival email as to which door the key would open.
Excellent accommodation, and well placed to walk into Aviemore, accommodation has everything you need and is dog friendly, lovely and clean also.
Smithy Croft is a truly charming and beautifully styled lodge, set within lovely grounds in an excellent location. The accommodation is finished to a high standard, with thoughtful details and unique features that give the property a real sense of luxury. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the beds were incredibly comfortable, the living space was warm and cosy with the log fire, and the open-plan kitchen and dining area made it perfect for relaxing and entertaining. Had an absolutely amazing stay at The Neuk. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was great fun having the hot tub and ping pong table and amazing having the hot tub on and ready for our arrival! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed, was a great spacious house. The dealings with the company and owners was also very helpful, providing a speedy response to any queries had and being very accommodating. Overall a fantastic stay had at this wonderful property!
Location good everything in walking distance. Hot tub was lovely and big bonus. Nice and clean place, quiet area. But a bit disappointed, no welcome fire wood/starting kindling. No slippers and only 4 robes. No dishwasher tablets. Outside bins full. Both toilet seats need tightening up. I would expect for £1200 it to be spot on, so think it’s a bit over priced. We still had a good holiday.

We had a great stay and found the hot tub to be one of the best we have experienced. Loved the birds and squirrels and the walks directly from the door. Couple of minor things that need addressed as part of any upgrade plan, 1. A sign from the main road would be helpful 2. Some of the pans don’t work on the induction hob 3. The sofa needs replaced
Great lodge, fantastic location close to shop, cafe, pub and dog walks. Nice and quiet, garden a sun trap. Well equipped. Close to Aviemore for a good range of shops and walks and Boat of Garden for a visit to the Osprey at Loch Garten and Andersons restaurant for good food and a take away pizza
Lovely place to enjoy a rural get away, great views. The grounds are lovely, no luck luring much wildlife into sight. Would have been nice to have a proper path around the grounds. Beds were comfortable and sound didn't penetrate into bedrooms so everyone got to stick to their own sleep schedules. The large place was warm and comfortable. We stayed at Rivercroft in the Cairngorms and had a genuinely outstanding christmas. The setting is simply stunning—situated right by the river, it feels peaceful and secluded while still being the perfect base for exploring the area. Waking up to the surrounding scenery was simply amazing, and the nights skys were extraordinary. The wildlife was a real highlight. We saw wild deer nearby, and at one point we watched two kites circling and flying around overhead, which was unforgettable and made the whole stay feel even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed the remoteness of this property and how beautiful the setting was. The living room and kitchen were perfect. We expected the bedroom to be small but we both struggled with the limited head height getting in & out bed. Sadly the hot tub was out of use for our stay which was a key factor when booking the property and so we were disappointed to not have used this as the days were sunny and the view was great. Beautiful log cabin with great living space and log burner, and location down a track in it's own woodland over looking the River Spey. Loved it, will look forward to staying again.
Great location, kitchen was well equipped. Would be nice if there was a few store cupboard basics like sugar and a bit of tea and coffee would have been nice.
We booked our stay as a treat for our honeymoon with our two young kids. Unfortunately due to a storm we were left with no electricity. While we understand that this is out with the control of the owners the running water is pumped by an electric pump and it meant that for the first nearly 24 hours we had no running water as well as electricity and as had to vacate the property for an entire day. When we reached out regarding this we feel we have been let down with no adequate resolution and ourselves out of pocket. As a result we would not recommend this property
This is the second year we have stayed at this property as a family of 9 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs. There is lots of space, garden and facilities are excellent and the location is second to none. The property and furnishings are a little tired and dated but I am sure this is reflected in the price because it more than reasonable and to be fair why stay in when the Cairngorms are on your doorstep. Only thing we would change is the fact that there are only 2 x doubles the rest of the 3 bedrooms have singles in them - we say this only because we have more adults than children.
Perfect house for a family getaway. Location was great with easy access to dog walking and biking trails. House was well presented, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed having the hot tub and that the garden was not overlooked and it was secure for the dogs. Well all loved it. Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Only minor negative was the BBQ. It was too small to cook for 8 people and very shallow to get enough coals into it to cook for a house full. We abandoned our plans and cooked inside.
I have never written a poor review before but don't want others to be dissapointed like I was. Arrived at 3.50pm on the 6th April to meet someone leaving the lodge saying that the floors had just been mopped so to mind how I go. Floors were indeed wet. Pros clean floors cons didn't want wet socks or foot print marks. After waiting for floors to dry did the usual exploring of the property to find: Poor house keeping - rubbish (orange peels and left behind children's toys) under sofas; dog hair and pine needles on the living room carpet; mantlepiece, light shades, ornaments were dusty; windows ...more

From start to finish we had a wonderful time. The lodge was homely and comfy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great location.
When we arrived where we parked our car had poo from an animal everywhere it was difficult to not stand in and we cleaned this up ourselves. The lodge overall is lovely and cosy, perfect for our getaway and great north lodges were so accommodating when we needed to change our dates due to medical reasons. Apart from the outside it was clean and welcoming. During our stay someone did come over to check the hot tub levels and these facilities were easy to use with instructions provided. Nice lodge but we had some issues with hot water, and one of the beds had a mattress that smelled really bad. Cleanliness was okay but lots of dust under the beds. Hopefully a one-off as we have rented cottages with Great North Lodges before without any issue.
Facilities are good, location great for variety of activities. Good hot tub and sauna. However, the Double room at the front of the house had hair in the bed, mixed into the duvet and on the pillows. It looked like cat or dog hair and the bed hadn't been changed. The rug in the living room was hazardous and needs to be stuck down. The house in general was tired with the walls needing a touch up of paint, the conservatory was green with damp and the walls had cobwebs. The wooden floor boards were also separating which was a trip hazard and the lack of mats in the house for wet shoes...more
