This dog friendly three bedroom holiday Lodge on Limefitt Park offers fabulous views of the Troutbeck valley and superb accommodation for up to 6 guests. Great location and a fantastic holiday retreat in the heart of the Lakes.

Really pleasant stay.

Ideal for a family. Lovely views across the valley and great as a base for walking.
The site was also good for touring the southern lakes.
The lodge was well laid out , warm and cozy. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and had plenty of storage. In better weather the decking area would also be well suited to small children.
Would definitely book again.

We stayed in the lodge for a few days at new year. The lodge was in a perfect location on the site with lovely large windows overlooking the hills. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be the cleanliness of the lodge. Othe bathrooms weren’t very clean corners of the bathrooms around the toilet etc. a lot of ornaments and nick naks on surfaces dusty. I feel like the cleaners are not doing a thorough job between visitors which is a shame for the owners of the lovely lodge. Everything else about our stay was perfect. If it was cleaner I would definitely recommend the lodge to others

We have raised the issues with the independent cleaners who have assured us that they will put matters right and that something similar will not be repeated. Furthermore we have already followed up on this matter and can advise the lodge is now to the standard that you and we expect from a privately owned lodge. On our part, we shall also be monitoring the lodge more closely in future. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Lodge was great and as expected, only downside was lodge cleanliness was not great. Floors noticeably dirty in corners and edges, especially in main bathroom and kitchen equipment put back in cupboards poorly washed etc. Just feels like the lodge needs a deep clean and the regular cleaning regime increased/more attention.

It's a lovely place with a stunning view, complete with all amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun. Location is great reasonably close to a lot of attractions. It's a place where you would be happy to come home to after a busy day on the lakes. I highly recommend this place.
The only thing that needs to be fixed is the WiFi as there's no broadband connection and the mobile signal is poor, the only one that works is the O2 network.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is the parks Wi-Fi and not direct to the lodge and this does not always prove so reliable. We are very happy you had a great time and that you would recommend the lodge and we do hope to welcome you back again in the near future.

Beautiful lodge in an ideal position on the park. The lodge had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Couldn’t fault the view of the fells and the field area where we saw rabbits,squirrels,sheep and deer. Would 100% return again.
