A very enjoyable stay with everything u could possibly need very comfortable clean excellent location a very good welcoming package which was a lovely surprise will definitely be back
If you are considering staying in one of these pods I highly recommend it. They are beautiful, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm in a lovely peaceful spot. The Brown Horse pub also does great food and a lovely breakfast!
What a view! You could not ask for more! Even through the rain (and there was a lot!) the view of Windermere was stunning! This was honestly the most equipped lodge I have ever stayed in. It had everything - including the most coat hangers I have ever seen (if you know, you know!) the beds were stupidly comfortable, the lodge was so cosy, my husband had to drag me out when it was time to go. We booked for the week of Christmas, and before we had hit the main road I was trying to book again for next Christmas only to find it’s booked! But reassured we will be back!
Stayed at Potter's Lodge to celebrate my mums 85th birthday. Delighted with the lake view and comforts of the lodge for all the family. With the addition of the hot tub and being able to bring our family dog. We all had an enjoyable long weekend at the lodge and would highly recommend. Lots of little extra touches which were welcomed.
Best holiday ever. It was love at first sight. I'm in love with the hot tub. Can't wait for next year to come back, maybe I can book it for New Year or Christmas to come with the family.
We absolutely loved our stay at High Borrans. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, remote, can't wait to book our next stay!
Our lodge was absolutely perfect. It was cosy, spotlessly clean, modern and had everything we needed. The lodge is in a great location just a short drive to the town and the surroundings of the lodge are beautiful. Unfortunately, we were caught up in the unexpected heavy snow on the second day of our stay. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Bertie. If it wasn't for him being kind enough to come and pick us up from the town where our car was stuck, we would have been spending the night in our car with our dog. We were also allowed to stay longer after our checkout time due to the...more
We stayed with our 2 labradors and is was in a beautiful location and the lodge itself was amazing! It had everything you needed inside, the bed was comfy and the bath was amazing a nice relax after long days walking. The host came down to say hello and was so welcoming. I would highly recommend booking here and we will be back to stay again!
We booked last minute to stay at High Borrans, Percy the Shepherd's Hut and we are so glad we did! A beautiful, cosy place to stay with everything you could possibly need. Perfect location, well designed and a super easy booking process. 100% will be booking again!
We have been every year for the past 5 years bar 1 year when Covid was about . We absolutely love this place , it’s our favourite place to come and stay. The lady who runs / owns these is a wonderful lady . We definitely will be coming back again and again
We arrived early and were allowed to check in before our time. The lodge is perfectly equipped, warm and cosy. It was a beautiful autumnal day so we sat out in the decking with beautiful views. There was lots of walking to be done and we also had a drive around the area. Would highly recommend and certainly be coming back.
Had a fantastic time at white cross bay, The only negative thing was could be better lit up on a night when walking back to lodge in the dark, Will definitely be coming back.
If you're looking for a truly special and welcoming place to stay, look no further than this charming cabin on a farm in the Lake District. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for, from picking us up when we were stranded in the snow to the delightful touches throughout the cabin (Dene). The scenery is stunning, and the amenities are top-notch. This is the kind of place that will stay in your memory for years to come. We can't recommend it highly enough!
Fellhaven is a lovely lodge I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet break away, it's in a lovely spot on the park, it was our second time of staying at this lodge & we really enjoyed it.
Great week, lovely accommodation, very clean and well equipped. Good location. We’d definitely return.
Nice and quiet place for exploring the lake district, very comfortable cabin. Kathy is very friendly and lovely host.
Me and my partner had a 4 night stay in the Dovedale lodge. I have stayed on white cross bay a few times in the past with family, but it was my partners first time here. To say he loved it was an understatement! The lodge was filled with Autumn/Halloween decorations which was such an amazing Surprise! It was so clean and in a perfect location, so close to the lake too! Will 100% be staying here again.
We love this lodge and have stayed here before. It’s very comfortable and homely. The location is excellent. We enjoy the large outdoor decking.
Overall, it's a fabulous lodge in a great location. Beds were comfortable and the was lodge cosy. We found a few dirty plates and the complementary milks were out of date but nothing major. Park Dean is very dog friendly and are all over the restaurant so keep an open mind about that. Would return!
This was our second time booking Bowness Lodge with Lakes Cottages and Lodges Ltd. The booking process is very easy and reasonably priced. It is one of the older lodges but in a good position with a hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and there is a bath (which we prefer after a long day walking) as well as an ensuite shower room. The lodge is dog friendly with a gated decking. The weather was dreadful with torrential rain but the cabin is very cosy and lovely and warm.
Relaxing retreat in a good location. Pod was cosy, well equipped including items for dogs and decorated to an excellent standard. The Brown Horse Inn serves excellent food and allows dogs in the bar area. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend booking.
We have booked with Lakes Cottages and Lodges Ltd on a few occasions and have always found them easy to book with, value for money and informative. This was our first time in Ewe View Lodge and we were not disappointed. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac on Limefitt Park and is not overlooked at all. There is an amazing view from the lounge windows and everything you need for your stay in the lodge. There was a lovely surprise of Prosecco and chocolates on arrival. The lodge was spotlessly clean and we will definitely be returning.
Ideal for a family. Lovely views across the valley and great as a base for walking. The site was also good for touring the southern lakes. The lodge was well laid out , warm and cozy. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and had plenty of storage. In better weather the decking area would also be well suited to small children. Would definitely book again.
Comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. Only criticism is that the toilet seat needs replacing as it is stained underneath and doesn’t meet the standard of the rest of the apartment.
Our stay was lovely in laughing duck Lodge, really good location tucked away which was good for us as we have an anxious dog. The lodge itself was spacious, clean and tidy, would definitely stay here again
This lodge is in a good position, hot tub great, heating and hot water perfect. The down side, not enough plates or basic utensils in general, but I did get more mugs and water glasses when I requested them on arrival. The bathroom definitely needs redecoration and the whole property looks very tired it doesn’t give a good impression when there is the old stalk of a dead plant rotting in a plant pot on the patio. This property could be great with a bit of a makeover.
but the heating was not working on one of the days and could not control from the property, the controls were not working Good customer service
