We had a wonderful stay at Hollin House to celebrate my Mum’s 80th. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Beds were great! Highly recommend.

Our recent stay at Hollin House exceeded all expectations, it’s beautiful and spacious. Everything you could imagine was provided. The beds were super comfortable. Lots of local information. Woodenstar Cottages are fabulous, we will be booking again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We were a group of eight and the property, particularly ground floor, was very spacious. There was plenty of room to sit comfortably and it was lovely to have a breakfast table as well as a dining table. The kitchen was very well equipped. and large enough for all of us to participate in the preparations. Our group commented that it was extremely comfortable and homely without being cluttered. It would have been good to read some information about the house and it's renovation. Hardly anything to be found on the Internet.

Fantastic stay for a reunion with friends - the kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms comfortable, wood fire cosy, and situated in beautiful countryside.
Excellent communication about the levels of snow around the property that helped us decide to successfully go ahead with the weekend despite weather warnings.
