The most amazing place to go with children! Lynda went above and beyond every day allowing the kids to feed the chickens, goat and pony. They were also able to ride the pony which was definitely a highlight for the kids. Stayed in Granary cottage—clean, comfy and had all the amenities needed for a week away, delicious cream tea on arrival. The children loved playing in the garden, it was the perfect setup for them. And all within ~30min drive of some stunning beaches. We will be back
We have just returned from another fantastic stay at Bampfield Farm, with our 9 year old grandson and 4 year old grandaughter. Haven cottage is so comfortable and spotlessly clean , with everything you need. The home baked scones, cream and jam provided as a welcome are delicious. There are plenty of activities for the young ones - feeding the animals, collecting eggs, pony riding and watching the cows being milked. There is also a great play area with swings, climbing frame and play house, also a play barn with every toy and game you can imagine. Also a football table that dads would enjoy. T...more
