A perfect place to get away from it all. Brilliant hosting from Alexandra who gave us a tour of the castle and was incredibly responsive. Cannot recommend highly enough!
I don’t have enough words for how much we loved our stay here. It was absolutely perfect. The cottage itself was well appointed, clean, and incredibly cosy. Everything in the home was lovely and intentional and there were so many thoughtful little touches (the DVD selection was brilliant). The location was so peaceful and stunning. The views were incredible. We loved watching the sheep! It’s also a short drive into the village, which has a lot to do. If you are looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway, this is your place!
Our stay at Burnside Cottage was fantastic. The cottage was spotless, warm and beautifully presented. Burnside really is a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end crockery, oven/hob and coffee machine. There was a supply of condiments, oil, herbs and spices which was a thoughtful gesture. The homemade brownies and wine made us feel very welcome. The living room was beautifully decorated and very cosy with the addition of a log burner. We recently stayed at East Gatehouse Lodge on the Monzie Estate in the spring, and it was such a warm and welcoming home away from home. Nestled in beautiful countryside, the estate offered the perfect setting for peaceful, late-afternoon walks and a true escape into nature. We had a three generation long weekend at the Mill House. It was super-clean, well equipped, comfortable and warm. We found local and more distant walks, and the playpark at Crieff Hydro was very popular with the youngest members of our party (ages 2-7). We hope to be back!
