Podere Gregorio, (known locally as Podere La Specola), is a beautiful Tuscan estate nestled on a hill overlooking the Val d’Arno, just at the edge of the famed Chianti hills near Figline Valdarno. Dating back to the 14th century, this charming hamlet - once home to Renaissance humanist Marsilio Ficino - is now beautifully restored, offering three elegant residences that accommodate up to 22 guests with authentic style and comfort.

Approach the estate via a graceful cypress-lined driveway, through a grove of silvery olive trees, and you'll find three separate buildings. The park-like grounds enclose a 16 × 8 m swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces, a soothing hydromassage tub, and outdoor lounge spaces for al fresco dining and relaxation.

Guests can elevate their stay with bespoke extras: intimate cooking classes featuring regional recipes, curated wine-tasting sessions led by certified sommeliers, guided cycling through the Chianti hills, and professional massage services. With private parking, meticulous cleaning, and attentive hosts nearby (ensuring privacy but ready to assist), Podere Gregorio presents a seamless blend of rustic charm and refined luxury. Located 30 minutes from Florence, with easy access to Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano, and upscale outlets like The Mall, it’s the perfect launchpad for Tuscan adventures

There should be daily cleaning included.

The main kitchen was not well equipped, oven did not work, toaster did not work.

Facilities in the area were poor had to visit the coop regularly. Few local restaurants.

Tuscany dinner was alot of food left over but not offered to us to eat afterwards.

Pool table had pockets undersized!

The property is really getting to a point where an upgrade is going to be required.
