Wheelchair Accessible Villa for 14 with infinity pool, sauna and Turkish bath, an elegant home for fourteen guests in spacious en-suite bedrooms with views of Chianti, Tuscany.

The forested hills of Chianti have long been exerted their siren call over lovers of good wine, good food and beautiful views. Podere Castello is set in a privileged position, high on a hill with views of vineyards, forests of evergreen oak, and the fortified church that once protected this small hamlet.

Today this ancient stone farmhouse has been transformed into an elegant home for fourteen guests in spacious en-suite bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is fully accessible, making this house ideal for groups or families where somebody has limited mobility. The private swimming pool has stepped access so all can enjoy the views of Chianti from the infinity edge.

Beautiful well equipped villa in stunning location, perfect for a family holiday.

We booked the villa for a family reunion and landmark birthday celebration. The villa has seven spacious en suite bedrooms, it is well equipped, the support staff are easy to get hold of and any requests were handled promptly. We asked for a recommendation for a personal chef and Chef Gabriele produced a wonder birthday lunch for fifteen people. The outdoor spaces are gorgeous and the gardens well maintained. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the young adults made full use of the turkish sauna and steam room.

Most of the bedrooms are beautifully fitted out so it was odd to have a bedroom with no bedside tables, only a wooden chair. The seventh bedroom downstairs is equipped for wheelchair access and a bed for a carer. Our family used it as an extra bedroom. It does not have any windows that open up which made it quite stuffy. A number of us found the pillows in the bedrooms too firm.

The villa met all our expectations and our family had a truly wonderful time.
