As above, good location, good beds, lots of space. Choice of walks and pubs very local. Visit Yorkshire Sculpture park only 25 mins away so get some culture, exercise and fun in comfortable house
The team at Spicer Manor went above and beyond to make my last minute wedding dream come true. The day flowed so well from start to finish. The room in the coach house was beautifully set up, and the meadow view was just amazing to get ready in. We also had our wedding breakfast in the orangery as it was a small, intimate wedding. Thankyou again for all your hard work and making our day so perfect.
Our walking group has stayed at some fabulous properties over the last fifteen years but Unsliven Bridge Farm has to be up there with the very best of them. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and all facilities are first class and spotlessly clean. We self catered, cooking for ten each evening with ease. One of the big attractions is the location. Lovely week at the Barn, which is equipped to a very high standard. Just right for family walks with our two small dogs and three year old little girl. The field went down well with the older boys for a quick game of football. Loved sitting out looking over the stream in the early evening. Would highly recommend for a short break.
Well equipped and beautifully decorated with good quality bed linen and towels. Our King size bed wasa 2 beds pushed together so can be a bit uncomfortable! Not sure if all beds are. Not suitable for smaller children in my opinion as there are no flat grassed areas to play and all but 1 bedroom is on the second floor and stairs are steep with open wood.tread. Lovely area for walking being on the doorstep of the pennine trail.
We booked Leapings Cottage and Weevers Cottage together so we could have a long overdue family get together. There were 20 of us and the houses were perfect. We spent most of the time in Leapings Cottage - the outdoor and indoor space fit us all in to eat and socialise perfectly. The lounge is ENORMOUS! The bedrooms/en suites are all beautiful, the games rooms fantastic, the hot tubs lovely. Customer service was great too - really responsive when I wanted to change the configuration of some of the bedrooms (from king to twin beds).
