We have just had a wonderful week staying at the Water Mill cottage
The property is kept immaculately by Graham and Jane and the hot tub was perfect and just the thing after doing a day of Coastal Walks.
Along with an easy to light log burner the cottage had everything we needed and Graham and Jane are very generous with shower toiletries, logs, coffee pods etc
The location is great for visiting the Eden Project and the National Trust properties locally.
The coastal walks are only a 10 min drive away at Looe and Seaton.
The eggs from the farm are an added bonus.
It is a place we look forward to returning to

Watermill was so lovely. We had a fantastic stay. The property was so well equipped. The extra touches like the little hamper and the fresh eggs were very much appreciated. As was the mini robe for our toddler, she loved it!

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was beautiful, had loads of character and seeing the original mill walls inside was amazing, the hot tub was an added bonus. Peaceful, quiet and an escape from a busy life just for a few days was what we needed.
If you need to stay anywhere in Cornwall , definitely consider East Trenean Farm cottages x

We have recently returned from a 7 night stay in the Watermill at East Trenean Farm.

The photos on the website really don't do the place justice, it is much more spacious than the photos suggest. Despite the other cottages being booked out, it felt very private and we didnt feel like we were sharing the cottages with other families. When we arrived the place was spotlessly clean and had tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and dishwasher tablets so no stress on this front either!

The playground was set well away from the cottages so the children could play out of earshot. The hot tubs were well maintained and well serviced daily.

Only a very short drive from Looe - beautiful town with lots of places to eat, and Polperro which is another beautiful traditional fishing village. Also the large Morrisons in Liskeard is only 10 minutes drive away for all your shopping provisions.

We also used the EV chargers which worked very well and completely removed any charging related stress!

We would highly recommend to families and couples looking for a relaxing break in cornwall.

East Tranean Farm cottages are set in beautiful countryside. From the moment you turn off the road into the drive you are met with peace and tranquility. The cottages are all well maintained and the gardens kept perfectly. We stayed in Water Mill which was perfect for 3 adults. Everything you need is provided, luxury hamper, bathrobes, soap etc. My husband loved the coffee machine and pods. Outside the cottage has a lovely private garden and a separate garden area with hot tub under a pergola. Even on a rainy day it was perfect. Clever hedge plantings mean you are not aware of anybody else. We really liked that you park your car in a little car park as you don't hear cars coming and going. The location is just about right. Near enough to pop into Looe, which we actually quite liked and far enough away to feel rural. There are so many little beaches and towns to visit within 10 miles and plenty of walking.

We stayed with our two children. The cottage was really comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything you’d need. Lots of little touches, that showed the owners had put a lot of thought into our stay. Like dressing gowns and Easter egg hunt for the kids. Hair bobbles for the hot tub, which I had forgotten. Loads of things to do in the area. Hot tub was superb, with views of the countryside and hearing the babbling brook next to it. We stay in lots of cottages, and this one was definitely a favourite.

Me and my husband were lucky enough to win a weekend at The Watermill.
I cannot recommend the cottage highly enough!the location was perfect only a few minutes drive from Looe but so quiet i felt we could be miles away.
The cottage was amazing. So clean and cozy. Great facilities and covered hot tub a bonus although we were blessed with good weather.
The photos really dont do the property justice. Jane and Graham seemed really lovely and you could tell they have thought of everything!even hair bobbles for the hot tub if you forget them.
The local pub served good food and there is a lovely walk from there through seaton nature reserve.
I would 100% recommend and return

From the minute we placed the booking it was clear the attention to detail was first class. The dedicated online user account, specific to our booking, gave all the information we needed about the location, the accommodation, things to do and places to eat.
We were kept informed of everything we would need to know and do prior to arrival.
Upon arrival at the Farm we were greeted by Graham who was more than happy to show us around the cottage and tell us everything we needed to know.
The hamper was an added bonus and gave us all the basics to get us through the first evening.
Our children particularly enjoyed the play area and goal posts. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, stunning cottage and hot tub!
Would highly recommend East Trenean Farm and we will certainly be returning.

The cottage was extremely well presented, finished to a very high standard, and very well equipped. The location was perfect for us by not being hidden down some difficult to access single track round, but instead is easy to get to from a B road. Despite being located on a B road, the property was very quiet, and hence very relaxing.

The free to use EV charging was a major bonus for us, allowing us to explore nearly all of the areas around Looe that we wanted, without consuming any petrol. At the end of a day walking along the coastal path, the use of our personal hot tub was very welcome indeed!

would very much recommend, and hope to return again at some point in the future.

The Water Mill is furnished to a very high standard and retains some of the features of its former use, which gives it plenty of character. The owners are very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive, being available to provide advice and resolve any issues. For instance our hot tub temperature was accidentally set slightly too low, when I mentioned this it was resolved in less than 5 mins, which I felt was really great service.
The cottage was spotless and had been sanitised and checked prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this property.

Me, my partner and daughter recently stayed at East trenean farm for a short holiday break, everything was brilliant! It was more than we expected.
The cottage (The water Mill) was immaculate, everything we needed and more! The hot tub was fantastic, especially enjoyed by my daughter..
We will most definitely return again in the future!

Beautiful surroundings and everything you could want in the cottage. Great places to eat in Looe and the local pub serves excellent food with lovely friendly locals. Beautiful beaches nearby that are almost deserted. This is our third visit the East Treanean and we have had good time on each occasion.

We chose the property because of its location which was ideal for being close to Looe and other places to visit (such as Eden Project, only 40-45 mins away). We were very pleased with the standard of accommodation and cleanliness and the owners provided everything we needed, ensuring we were kept up to date with text messages etc throughout our stay. It's a very relaxing and quiet location, but with a farm shop just down the road if you do need anything.

We had a lovely visit to the Water Mill cottage. Two couples with one toddler each. The size of the cottage is ok for a short stay otherwise I would have chosen a bigger one.. It was sparkling clean, the towels were so soft and smelled like heaven, Graham was so nice and helpful always checking on us. They were so accommodating putting all safety measures for our kids plus some lovely touches such as kids cutlery, cups, etc..
Of course the playground was a hit and so handy!!! And the hot tub was great, big and powerful! All in all we had a great time!

Good to know that the towels smelt so nice and that you found the cottage sparkling clean. The Water Mill cottage is only bookable for one infant due to the space required for extra equipment, while the Threshing and Corn Barns both accommodate 2 infants, with plenty of space and are equipped accordingly.

I booked this cottage for my partners 30th, during the school holiday so the kids could come too. The cottage was outstanding you couldn’t want for more, from a very well equipped kitchen to mountains of storage and more toys and games than my kids could get through. The utility room and washing/dryer meant that we had zero washing when arriving home from our holiday which is a massive plus with our busy schedules. The walk around the farm itself is lovely (we made it our evening routine). Graham and Jane were amazing, very friendly and even brought over some buckets, spades and nets for the kids for the beach! The hot tub was brilliant at the end of a busy day. We had the most amazing week away at the cottage and we will definitely be back again!

Myself, my partner and our 1 year old son booked to stay at East Trenean Farm for a few days over new years eve in order to relax after the Christmas period and re-coup before January.

We stayed in the Water Mill and found the cottage to be in absolutely pristine condition. As we walked in we were surprised to find the cottage much larger than we had expected from the photos, yet still cosy enough to have a really lovely feel about it.

Jane and Graham had kindly arranged for stair gates, high chair, cot and a super pop up baby bath for the shower to be in the cottage ready for us. There was everything in the cottage we could possibly have asked for, making our stay a real home from home. They also left us a lovely selection of Cornish bits and pieces including tea, biscuits, juice and milk.

The location of the cottage was perfect for us to explore Northern Cornwall and have some lovely family days out - The Eden Project, Looe beach and Harbour (for a New Years Day Swim!) Plymouth Aquarium and Healeys Cyder farm.

Unfortunately the weather was not particularly great during out stay so our son was unable to play in the fantastic looking children's play area. Hopefully we will be back when the weather is better so he can try it out next time.

The way the cottages on site have been positioned means you have complete privacy in your garden / hot tub area which is fantastic.

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back ! Huge thank you to Jane and Graham for everything.

What a find East Trenean Farm was. We stayed at the Watermill leading up to Christmas. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with a warm welcome from Jane and Graham. The greeting gift box was lovely touch and mainly sourced with local produce. The mince pies and biscuits were great by the way!
We really didn’t want for nothing. The farm was so peaceful and quiet and we were lucky enough to have the place pretty much to ourselves (in terms of other guests). Having a Christmas tree and a log burner in December really added to what was a magical stay. Not forgetting the hot tub which was very relaxing after a days walking, often watching the night drawing in from under our fairy lit canopy. It would be a pleasure to return. Top marks

My family and I spent October half term at East Trenean Farm. We stayed in the Water Mill cottage which was lovely and came with it's own, private, covered hot tub! My daughter loved her daily dip (come rain or shine), and it certainly made our holiday feel that little bit more special. The cottage itself was lovely, and plenty big enough for the three of us, with the option of a fourth bed should we have required it. The cottage was perfectly equipped for a self catering holiday, and we used the local Sainsbury's to deliver our weekly shop on the same evening we arrived. Graham and Jane had left us a welcome hamper with the essentials, so this kept us going. There were games for us to use, and lego for my daughter which she spent all week playing with. There is a play area for children, young and hold, but unfortunately it was just a little too wet for us to make the most of it.

Looe is approx. 15 mins down the road, and is a lovely day out with a nice beach. Even in October we managed to bring some sand and shells home. There are some lovely local places to eat, and we loved the Coddy Shack which is within driving distance.

Overall, we would highly recommend East Trenean Farm, and fully expect to be returning in the years to come.

Jane and Graham at East Trenean Farm were wonderful hosts. The welcome pack was just what we needed after the long drive. The Water Mill was cosy and clean. We had been sent lots of suggestions for places to visit and there was more information in the mill. There was lots of outside space to enjoy as well as the hot tub. There was a great play space away from the barns as well as games, books and dvds in the water mill. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the lounge and kitchen had everything we needed. We had a fabulous week at the water mill. it’s a stunning place to stay and I wish we could have stay longer.

What a beautiful cottage.We were welcomed with a lovely little hamper to get us started. Very clean and well equipped. Large rooms and a fantastic shower. The hot tub was very much appreciated after long days of exploring gorgeous Cornwall. Graham and Jane are lovely friendly people who have done an amazing job in restoring the building into modern properties,but also keeping original features in the cottage which is stunning. Handy to have use of washing machine and tumble dryer. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a fantastic week at East Trenean Farm with friends, we rented out all four of the properties. The houses are all arranged around a central garden making them perfect to rent as a group. Each house was immaculately clean on arrival with lots of extra touches such as a welcome box with tea bags and cake and dishwasher/washing machine tablets for us to use which was very generous of the hosts. The beds were comfy and everything was to such a high standard we were very impressed with everything. The location is good a short drive near several lovely beaches and overlooking rolling fields. Both Graham and Jane were warm and welcoming hosts who were often around for a chat and to offer assistance if needed. We couldn’t fault it!
