We booked Low Graythwaite Hall in addition to Silverholme Manor for our wedding guests. It is a truly lovely unique property, there is plenty of communal spaces for sharing dinner and drinks with family and friends as well as the private sanctuary of very large comfortable bedrooms. The period features of the house are a wow factor and the little modern touches make it a home from home. Our guests had a lovely time and each one commented on how beautiful the house was and how comfortable the beds were, there is plenty of walking places to take a stroll and see the beauty of the estate and the lake district as well as getting out and about in the car to a little further afield. We absolutely loved this property and location and would highly recommened it to anyone thinking of staying here. Vanessa and her team were fantastic and made the week that all the more special. Thank you to all the team.

You can walk from LGH to Silverholme in less than 3 minutes. So I booked this venue for my friends who are coming from abroad to attend our wedding. They are all in their mid 30s to early 40s, and are very used to a certain level of comfort back home. I wanted to have a venue with a large enough common area for us to have our post-wedding after-party. LGH was the perfect choice: we had the fire on in the main room for dancing and general chit chat while the German contingent relaxed on the couches in a side room and the French contingent took over the kitchen area. The rooms were very comfortable, and all my guests were happy. When a friend of mine from Paris wanted to arrive earlier than the official check-in time so that he could have a conference call, Vanessa (the office manager) helped sort that out immediately. Similarly, when another friend of mine from New York realized that she forgot her favorite pantsuit somewhere, I gave her Vanessa's contact details and she received a super fast response. All in all, it was a success story for us and our guests. Thank you very much!

My firm I work for hired a number of the cottages at Graythwaite for a corporate team away day event at the beginning of May 2023. Vanessa, Claire and the rest of the Graythwaite team went out of their way to make our experience outstanding - nothing was too much trouble!

We were accommodated in Silverholme (for the main event), Low Graythwaite Hall, Hullet Hall, Hammerhole, Hazelseat, Keepers Cottage, Lords Leap, Grubbings, Bull Pen, Greenhowes, Bibby Lot, Briar, Bassicks, Crabtree and Forge. All of the accommodation was fabulous and had everything we needed.

The location is nothing short of spectacular and the value for money was incredibly reasonable. The feedback from our team has all been fabulous with even those who travelled from the South of England wanting to return - just an all-round magnificent event. Thank you Graythwaite and see you soon!

An outstanding experience!

Low Graythwaite Hall, along with the other properties we used (Silverholme, Hullett Hall and Grubbings) were the perfect setting for our daughter's wedding last week. The bride and groom live in England but I was trying to plan everything from New York. Everyone at Graythwaite Estates, especially Vanessa and Claire, were great to work with and went above and beyond to make it just the perfect wedding. Each of the venues were unique and lovely. I have no improvements to suggest - they had it all! All our guests were effusive in their feedback. I would be happy to talk with anyone who'd like more info on our experience.
