Our second stay and we had a lovely relaxing time. Leisurely breakfasts around that big table in a cosy warm space. The kitchen is so well equipped with good quality crockery etc. There are plenty areas in the house if someone wanted to curl up with the paper by one of the log burners. Great walks right from the door and beautiful countryside. We had a private chef come cook for us on one of the evenings, a great treat and highly recommended. The beds are so comfy with good quality bedding and we all slept well in the quiet surroundings. Plenty hot water for showers etc, plentiful supplies of logs for the wood burners. All in all a wonderful place

I think we are now in double figures for staying here. Says it all.
Wonderful setting. We had a couple of clear nights so we could see satellites and the Milky Way above us.
I will be booking for next years shortly.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Convalloch. It is situated in my favourite part of Perthshire. It’s a comfortable lodge where you can relax with family and friends. It would benefit from an update in the decor department.
But absolutely enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back.

My husband and I are avid nature lovers. We seek out wild, quiet places. Convalloch Lodge is somewhere you can truly find space, freedom and peace. The layout of the lodge is comfortable and spacious, with quirky traditional rooms and a vista to die for. The local area is rugged and amazing to walk around and explore and the bird life abundant, not to mention the flourishing micro life. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to get away from it all into nature. Its also a brilliant place to share with friends or family.

There was initial confusion as key code was not correctly shared but one phone call and resolved the property had comfortably beds beautifully white linen, and towels.
Plenty of seating however the sofas could do with extra foam or reupholstering, seen better days and not the most comfortable, however as the weather was amazing hot and sunny we had most of our time outside which is stunning views.
The small Amex was cosy however the bed was very firm.

Plenty of nice crockery
Utensils and cooking equipment.
Tea coffee and laundry detergent was available (however we took our own)
Dishwasher makes eating in easier so that a plus for sure.

An outdoor fire pit and bbq would have been a nice addition but we managed there are lots of warm blankets if the weather is chilly.

Tv didn’t seem to have any signal but we didn’t worry about that was nice without it.

WiFi is good
Parking good
Lots of log burners if chilly plus electric radiators.
Heated towel rails.

We had an amazing time.

Transport :- please note the track/road into the property is very unadapted not suitable for low profile vehicles, due to being farm tracks.

Another suggestion would be outside lights to the Amex from the main house.

The local residents are so helpful and friendly and the motor Grill at the bottom of the mountain is great value and good food although the property it’s self if tucked away it’s only a short drive to the main A9.
The beautiful drives out have stunning views and amazing places to make an adventure of a lifetime.
We had 2 members of our party with mobility issues and we was able to accommodate this although only one bedroom in the main building had access without stairs - one in the Amex building is on the ground floor.

The tennis court js completely enclosed making a safe play and exercising area.

The pond is a beautiful addition to the location.

We was just not ready to
Leave and would have loved a 2nd week or even longer to explore more places.

We referred to the house as our sky fall home (james bond) as the long entranceway is private to the property on the last long session.

We’ve stayed here before and couldn’t to return for a second year. Young families, 3 days of snow 2 dogs in tow and what a way to bring in the new year! Thank you for having us!

I recently had a three night stay with 8 friends in Convalloch Lodge. First visit to the area for all of us and we all loved the situation of the House and the amazing views. The lodge house was warm and much more spacious than we expected. All the bedrooms were so cosy and welcoming. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is plenty crockery and cutlery for a large group. That big table in the kitchen is the focal point of the house and we spent most of our time around it. Having the log burner at other end of the room with the sofas and rocking chair added to the warm and cosy atmosphere. We all agreed that the longer we were there the more at home and comfy we felt. Convalloch Lodge just wrapped us in a big warm hug. Lovely walks all around and coming back to the log burners in the warm and cosy lounge room and kitchen area was great. Good big hallway with plenty hooks for the boots and coats. Two big fridges for all the food required for 9 people. We even got a Tesco order delivered to the Lodge on our arrival to save carting all our food with us. We treated ourselves to having a Private Chef come cook for us on the Saturday and that was amazing. We had the use of the little Bothy house to the side of the main house but we didn’t use it. It’s very pretty but maybe a bit too rustic for ladies of a certain Vintage. Probably better for a couple. We would highly recommend Convalloch Lodge for a gathering of friends or family. It’s a great space and families with children would have a great time there. Can’t wait for an excuse to book it again

We had a very comfortable stay at Convalloch although we missed the downstairs bathroom next to the drawing room.
Two of our party stayed in the Bothy and struggled to find their way in the dark! An outside light or two would be hugely beneficial.

This was a belted celebration of my 80th birthday. Some family were over from Australia and they, along with some family from Edinburgh, had a lovely relaxing time. There was no suggestion that the young ones would disturb anyone.
We had one complaint....!!!! too many flies.
Many, many thanks.

We really enjoyed our stay in a great location.

The only issue we had was hot water which seemed to run low on a couple of occasions.

It would have been nice for the outside sitting area to have been mown around the table and chairs

Convalloch is a lovely house and suited our group very well. The housekeepers are wonderful. All the staff are great and if you need anything, nothing is too much trouble.
The beds in the main house are very comfortable. The house is very cosy and warm. The working part of the kitchen is small but well equipped and had everything we needed. Large dining table is ideal for groups or families.
Useful additions are the washing machine and tumble drier, outside furniture and wood burners.
Lovely walks from the cottage. The deer come to the pond at the house most days and the red squirrels are close by.

Another year at Convalloch Lodge and another great stay. Perfect for our party of seven with enough room and bedrooms all round.

Big roast dinners and a warm fire to sit at in the evenings chewing over the day and sipping the occasional tipple(!)We took the fishing on the Tummel and despite lack of fish running, managed another two. The best thing was Old Willy (85) catching a beauty.

We will be back - thanks again to the Atholl Estate

I take a party up to Scotland most years I’ve stayed in convalloch on 5 occasions now and I’m speaking for the whole party when I say it can’t be faulted in any way . We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay . TOP MARKS.
