The luxury Shepherds Hut is a dreamy and intimate retreat for two people (with up to one infant) that is tailor-made for romantic getaways, built with meticulous attention to detail, using high-quality materials and a combination of rustic and modern elements. As you enter the hut, you are greeted with a warm and inviting ambience. The interior is beautifully decorated with soft, muted colours, natural fabrics, and plush furnishings that exude comfort and sophistication. The large, comfy bed is the centrepiece of the hut, with crisp linens, fluffy pillows, and a cosy duvet that is perfect for snuggling. The hut is equipped with all the modern amenities that you could need, including a fully functional kitchenette with a stove, microwave oven, and fridge, as well as a luxurious bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. There is also a comfortable seating area, where you can relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views outside.

Very impressed with the lodge as soon as we arrived. Cosy and feels homely inside. Top of the range appliances which made it very enjoyable. One thing that would have been nice would be a microwave as with these sorts of stays, we prepared our meals with this expectation. One more thing would be a mat on the floor inside the lodge as it rained while we were there and we ended up having to sacrifice one of our towels from home to avoid wet footprints inside. Overall, would definitely stay again and really enjoyed this. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Excellent location. Our hut was spotless and very well equipped with kitchen utensils. We were impressed with the portable speakers.
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return.

The place we stayed was in a lovely setting very quiet & relaxing. They also have a cafe which we visited drinks & food lovely. Staff very friendly. Would definitely return again in the future

My husband and I had an amazing break. Would 100% recommend. The staff and facilities are brilliant. The off lead dog area is great for my over energetic boxer, and i also took advantage of one of the spa therapies. The only reason I have marked down the value for money was due to a small reason but would like to be honest with my feedback. We ordered x2 "breakfast baps" one morning which are priced at 5.50 each, I understand there a price increases with the recent inflation, however this price was not justified with the food we were given. The "baps" were x2 slices of brown bread which were partly dry/stale and 2 sausages which were whole and hadn't been sliced. I know this sounds pathetic and like I say we had no other complaints at all! but I don't feel that this would meet customer expectations. However, we will definitely be coming back!
