‘Montagu’ has been newly renovated and updated to provide a modern and welcoming self-catering retreat for up to six guests and two dogs, across three bedrooms. The cottage is only minutes away from Drumlanrig Castle, and close to walks and trails. It is semi-detached, located next door to the popular Laundry Cottage, making it an ideal choice for larger groups or multiple families.

Montagu Cottage is a fantastic base for a holiday. The accommodation itself is both incredibly stylish and very comfortable. A lovely colour scheme throughout which is very restful, but also full of flair. High ceiling and large windows mean the light floods in to the main living area. It is very well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen. Great night's sleep in the peaceful setting with generous and comfortable bedding.

There is an enclosed garden - great for dogs - and patio table and chairs. Set well within the estate, the only sound you will hear is birdsong.
Drumlanrig Castle is a few minutes walk with lovely gardens, a cafe, adventure playground, lots of walks and trails. The Castle is well worth a tour to hear about its fascinating history and see the world class art collection.
