Hareley Barn is a restored 16th Century Grade II listed barn, situated on a traditional rare breeds farm. It has panoramic views over an unspoilt rural landscape of woods, streams and pasture. The farm is a haven for wildlife where we rear rare breed sheep, pigs and poultry.
The Barn is spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bedroom and en suite bathroom which has one small step (apart from this access is level throughout) and twin-bedded room and separate bathroom with splash shower and spa bath. There is a woodburning stove in the living area, a separate kitchen and a laundry room.
The original stone walls, cattle stall and hayrack have been preserved and most of the Barn is open to the eaves. A fenced grass playground is available from April to October and the barbecue area
A lovely relaxing weekend spent at Hareley Barn. The barn is super comfortable and well equipped. Gillian was exceptionally welcoming and we enjoyed learning about the farm and the rare breeds. Excellent walks from the doorstep and a super quirky pub within walking distance make this a perfect stay for some welcome downtime and relaxation.
