Great location to explore the Lakes. Fabulous accommodation, with nice touches. If you have a pooch even better, everything provided if you forget anything. Cottage stands in lovely grounds to explore.
Having stayed at Tallentire Hall many times previously this short and last minute visit again did not disappoint! Ann and Martin are exceptional hosts and go above and beyond with their customer service/hosting skills I stayed in Gardeners Cottage which was peaceful and had everything I needed. I did not want to come home! They cater for your dog very well and the added bonus is the enclosed dog paddock for exersise off lead. We will of course be booking again and look forward to it already 5* property and hosts xxx
We had a lovely staff at The Hayloft, everything was really clean and it was well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The horses were very friendly and dog tags were available for my three dogs with local contact information on them. Not much to do in the local village but we did visit the local pub twice, The Bush Inn. The food in the pub was lovely and very reasonable priced. Cockermouth has several takeaways which we used during our stay.
