We loved our week long stay in Gamekeeper’s Cottage. The accommodation is warm and comfy, very well equipped, quiet and in a great location for reaching the Lakes attractions and Cumbrian beaches. We received a very warm welcome and goodies for us and our two dogs - the cottage is very dog friendly: treats, throws and towels were available for use, and the fenced dog field is a great facility. Thank you to hosts Ann and Martin for your hospitality. :)
Gardeners cottage is a cosy retreat for two. It is very well equipped with high quality furnishings. Everything you need is provided for an enjoyable stay. Set in lovely grounds and a very peaceful environment. The hosts are lovely couple, and are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
We had another lovely stay here. Everything was as it was on our previous stay. Ann and Martin happily accommodated the last minute addition of a family member which was greatly appreciated. Everything was spotlessly clean, it was comfortable and nice to cosy up with the heating on of an evening. The dogs loved their treats and beings able to snuggle up with us on the settees. Thanks for a great stay.
