We had a wonderful family Christmas stay at the Townhead house. The location & surroundings hills were beautiful, peaceful & quiet. Our hosts had provided us with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree & included a few extra treats for us. The basic provisions provided were also very much appreciated. The modern heat pump ensured comfortable heating throughout the property & plenty of hot water.

The staff were amazing at keeping this surprise visit for my husbands birthday. Amazing place to visit and stay and would throughly recommend getting chef in to prepare evening meal. Thank you to chefs Chris and Dougie and a massive thank you to Sandy, Rachel and Katarina for all your help
Great short break in quiet and peaceful surroundings facilities were great comfortable bed welcome pack of bread milk and eggs were much appreciated good base for visiting Peebles and surrounding area great for stargazing as little light pollution.
Stunning property, decorated beautifully, well equipped and thoughtfully designed. Spotlessly clean, couldn’t have been better for our dog with the charming arboretum literally on our doorstep. We immediately relaxed, enjoying the peaceful and spectacular location, perhaps remote for some but we were well prepared and enjoyed our walks into Peebles and the surrounding area. Will definitely book again. Thank you.

The kitchen was well equipped and they had provided some essentials for us (milk, eggs, bread) which was much appreciated. Bed was comfy, the bath and shower were both nice. We didn't real...more
The location was ideal—nestled in nature and history, yet just a short walk or drive into Peebles. We had a guest with limited mobility, and the place was wonderfully accessible. The rooms were beautiful and cozy, making the stay absolutely perfect.
