A luxurious apartment (with parking) quietly situated in the coastal town of Highcliffe a short walk to an array of shops and cafés (try The Catch, fish and chip shop which is really good). Seashells is equipped with all the mod cons you would expect for a holiday stay and was immaculate throughout providing an excellent base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. I can highly recommend the walk along the beach from Highcliffe to Mudeford Quay as well as a visit to the Isle of Wight but do book the ferry ahead as it gets quite busy (it's about £100 return). While there try to visit Osborne House (Queen Victoria's family home - allow about 3-4 hours if you want to walk down to Victoria's private beach and wallow in the amazingly colourful gardens which are fabulous!) and the Donkey sanctuary which was also wonderful. We loved the Titanic museum in Southampton and made a day of it with lunch and a bit of shopping thrown in. We googled 'New Forest Walks' and explored this beautiful area finishing with tired legs and a pub lunch - the Royal Oak, Fritham does a superb ploughman's. Lyndhurst is well worth a visit as is the Lyndhurst Coffee Shop on the high street, their Dorset apple cake is delicious. We also loved seeing the horses, ponies and donkeys wandering about. To sum up we loved our stay at Seashells and will definitely be back.

Seashells is an immaculate property, tastefully decorated and furnished. The terrace is a bonus, thoughtfully screened from the road. It is situated in close walking distance to the high street with good cafes and restaurants. The beautiful coastline is also only a short walk away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others

A little Gem, hidden in a very quiet location. All you need is on your doorstep. Ideal location for all local attractions, the New Forest and its many walks, the fabulous beach and other great places to visit all within 30 mins of Seashells. Having used other cottage providers in the past, New Forest Escapes outshines them all, well done and keep doing what you do. Thanks

The apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is walking distance to beaches, highcliffe castle and the shops, cafes and a fantastic restaurant in highcliffe (Bistro my way). A short drive to New Milton, with its department store and M & S Food. The only small issue is that you cannot hang washing outside.

We had a great week in Seashells which is conveniently located near both the beach and local amenities. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The personal service from New Forest Escapes was much appreciated, something you just don't get with the large property rental companies.
I would not hesitate to recommend New Forest Escapes to anyone looking to holiday in the area or Seashells as a place to stay, both were first class.
