This impressive, spacious, light-filled Edwardian family home is a great base for multi-generational and family get-togethers. With six airy bedrooms and bathrooms on both the first and second floors, there’s plenty of space for everyone to stretch out, discover their own corners and feel comfortable. Dog friendy.

We have stopped in the New Forest multiple times in some lovely houses but Greenwood was far superior. The New Forest holds a special place in our family and this house just made it even more magical. Three generations enjoyed the facilities, a favourite being the pool and all added entertainment extras made this a perfect getaway. The house is stunning and large enough to not feel on top of each other. The location of Greenwood allows easy access to the forest walks but also into the town of Brokenhurst. Waking up to the ponies and cows just outside the gates brought so much joy to the younger members of the family. The support from New Forest Escapes ensured from the moment of booking until our stay that everything was in place for a wonderful stress free trip. The staff are fabulous and so friendly. We are already planning our next visit!

We had a lovely week at Greenwood which is a stunning house and garden in a beautiful location. A great place suitable for all ages with everything you could wish for including swimming pool, tennis court ,cinema and games room. We would have no hesitation returning.

We booked a weekend away for an 80th birthday with our family. We wanted something fairly local to where we live as grandchildren needed to leave Sunday evening to get home for school/college. They were very impressed with the games room and made full use of it. The weather was mostly wet all weekend so they were kept busy.

We were impressed with the space of all the rooms and the house was well equipped with everything we needed.

We had an amazing family stay at Greenwood. The house is spacious, character full and homely.

Each bedroom is roomy with lovely views into the garden

The games room/Annexe is an added bonus and fun to bring the family together.

The garden is large and our dogs had a great time chasing around in a safe enclosed space

The open plan downstairs is a lovely sociable area where we gathered and the other rooms provided quiet space when needed

The setting of the home is exceptional, straight onto the forest with lovely walks on the doorstep and the village 8 min walk away

What a house. We had the best time, fun & entertainment for children &adults. The playroom, cinema room, are epic. Garden beautiful & the house is lovely. You really have thought of everything & created a home from home feel with a holiday vibe. The perfect combination. The decor is beautiful &beds super comfortable &spacious. Everyone had the best time & we hope to visit again . Thank you for creating a wonderful house for us to experience.

Three generations, from age 7 to 71, stayed at Greenwood to celebrate a 70th birthday and 50th wedding anniversary and Greenwood was the perfect setting.

The house was spotlessly clean, welcoming, and had everything we could possibly need. The games room kept the young (and old!) entertained for hours.

Thank you Greenwood and the NFE team; we had a perfect weekend.
