Beautifully appointed, Buittle Castle offers the experience of staying in a working, privately owned Scottish castle. We aim to offer guests a true country house experience. We are pleased to offer exclusive-use hire of the whole castle, for accommodating groups of 8, with the option to host your own event or wedding in our magical Medieval Great Hall. Exclusive use hire gives you access to out beautiful gardens and grounds, hot tub and includes a staff member on site to provide breakfast for your group, housekeeping and any assistance during your stay that may be required. We are also able to offer catered dining and clay pidgeon shooting (at an additional cost) upon request. The castle has plenty of parking, and are located in a rural setting, about 1.5 miles from Dalbeattie. In the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, Buittle is the ideal place to stay for quick access to many of the region's attractions, whether our guests are nature lovers, avid cyclists, history enthusiasts, or just want a quiet getaway.
