This was our third trip to Riverside Cottage; as my son said, "when we turned into Milldale, it felt like coming home". I think that tells you everything you need to know.

A wonderful week spent in the Riverside cottage …it felt like some one’s home as the cottage was decorated and furnished with such style and loving devotion
The location is so beautiful and peaceful I feel
The owners Andy and Sarah went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable with great knowledge of walks and pubs to dine and drink.
Will definitely go again and stay at Riverside cottage

We absolutely love this cottage and keep coming back because it never lets us down. It’s spotless, cosy, and finished to such a high standard that we’ve genuinely considered moving in permanently (we’re still working on our excuse). Andrew & Sarah are brilliant—they can’t do enough for you. It’s one of those rare places where every stay is excellent, no matter how many times you visit. Highly recommended, though part of us wants to keep it a secret.

Riverside Cottage is a beautiful cottage, very comfortable and with every amenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and found it an excellent base, from which to explore Dove Dale, and the Peak District. We found the owners extremely helpful, and considerate. The welcome basket of goods, including a bottle of champagne, is the best we have seen and set a great opening note. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage for a holiday.
