Muntham is the only apartment we have felt the need to return to as a holiday. Its Home from home.Highly recommended. Superb attention to detail. Great location. Friendly/helpful hosts. Very relaxing and quiet. Looking forward to returning very soon.
This was my second time here and it was just as perfect as the first! The accommodation is so comfortable and homely with plenty of space to relax. Everything you could possibly need was provided by Adam and Grant and the welcome hamper was incredibly generous. Wellswood is a perfect location to base yourself, being half way between Babbacombe and Torquay with easy access to local shops and a decent pub, plus buses should you need them. Parking is an absolute bonus! I wholeheartedly recommend Muntham!
This is our 3rd stay at Muntham, each time in a different apartment. This was smaller, but lovely and cosy. Each apartment cannot be faulted in the attention to detail and those small touches that set Muntham apart - Cherry Bakewell cake! Being at the front of the house you might think it would be noisy, absolutely not, it was just as peaceful. The afternoon sun was delightful gently warming the apartment. The heating was on, but a little too warm for us so turned down or off. The beds are super comfy, and the pillows just the same. The mid week mini clean and clean bedding was appreciated. ...more
My parents stayed in apartment 5 over Christmas. They had a very enjoyable stay. The small touches were fantastic with a small Christmas tree in the room and mince pies in the kitchen. I cannot recommend the muntham highly enough, the owners Grant and Adam are two wonderful gentlemen who cannot do enough when you stay with them.
Appt 3 is a beautiful place to stay, with a large, comfortable lounge overlooking the gardens. It's at the back of the house, so incredibly quiet and peacful. (The front of the house is hardly Piccadilly Circus! The whole of Muntham - and indeed Wellswood - is such a peacful place to stay.) I will definitely be returning!
The Muntham Apartments are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It feels more like a home than a holiday let with quality appliances and everything you could need for a break. The little touches - biscuits, cake, Prosecco, tea, coffee, milk, luxurious toiletries, dressing gowns and cozy blankets on the sofa make you feel valued as a customer. The building is grand, each apartment accessed from the wide hallway and sweeping staircase with the antique furniture and art work setting the tone for what unfolds behind the door of our apartment. A lovely break we had at Muntham Apartments, it was very clean and everything we needed in a quiet area of town. It was a lovely touch in that the hosts left a selection of goodies on arrival both for us and our dog. Thank you for a lovely time
