This was our second time at Royal 1, came back because it was the perfect situation for ourselves, location and the house itself. Amy the owner is very helpful but just leaves you to enjoy your stay. We visited every corner of this beautiful wee island and followed the Manx Rally over a few days. If you enjoy driving there are some great roads but the Mountain Road from Ramsey to Douglas is the best of all, no speed limit either.

What a lovely cottage to spend our time in the Isle of Man. It was so comfortable and clean. The host was there to meet us with the keys when we arrived. There was some supplies to get us going and plenty of information about places to visit. I'd recommend this place.

Nice modern accommodation with thoughtful touches. Very pleasant, accessible owner. Mentioned we would have liked more cutlery etc to cut down on use of dishwasher and some kitchen implements.

Very comfortable self catering apartment. Spotlessly clean. All amenities you would require are there. Amy and Her Husband, the owners are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Great base to explore a fantastic wee island. My Wife, Heather and I will definitely be back. Would love come and watch the TT, Royal 1 would be a great base to do so.

The property is very well kept, well equipped and the hosts are lovely.

The area is very quiet despite building works still going on that looks as though they are coming to an end soon.

We really enjoyed staying at Royal 1, such a beautiful holiday let, fantastic location walking distance to beach. Extremely clean and well decorated.

Lovely accommodation and 10 days of warm, sunny weather! Really pleased we took our car as we were able to do so much more and everything is only a short drive away. We loved the park in Ramsey and the swimming pool with its exceptional cafe is not to be missed. The five days heritage pass allowed us to visit a number of heritage sites.

We found Royal 1 very comfortable - relaxing living room area, a spacious kitchen/dining room and sleeping in such a soft, luxurious bed was wonderful! We are both quite fit and therefore, because we did not bring our car over to the island, a daily walk through the park into town was not a problem. However, there are a limited number of buses available to get you from near the house to the bus station in the centre, so visitors need to be aware of that. Amy was very helpful indeed, including giving us a lift on the day of our departure, when it would have been a struggle pulling a large suitcase as far as the bus station! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal 1.

We truly enjoyed our stay , the host Amy was delightful and very accommodating , making sure we had everything we needed.
Royal 1 was beautiful presented, comfortable living area and bathroom , kitchen was well stocked.
The garden was an extra bonus .
Parking was no issue.
Would definitely go back .

The property is an extension to the owner's house and is modern, clean and comfortable. Amy made us very welcome and gave us some useful tips on local amenities and places of interest.

Location a minor issue as there was a construction site opposite but it didn't really disturb us as we were out most of the days. As the work opposite is completed this aspect will improve and the property will be more secluded.

A very pleasant stay and thank you to Amy for her kindness and help in enjoying a wonderful island.

Superb location, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and walking distance to Ramsey town centre. Accomodation was very comfortable, clean and felt like a home away from home.

Well equipped kitchen.
Extremely clean property.
New and fresh feel, lots of natural light, very well kept.
Car parking outside the property. Separate entrance, access to a garden.
In a great location, for exploring the island.
