Clearly a very recent project.
The property is very clean and well done.
Plenty of parking, very secure location.
Amazing views across the mountain and coast.
After arriving at 2am due to delayed ferry it was a great gesture to have milk, tea, coffee, bread and butter left for arrival.
We were on bikes which made it easy to get around the island, not far from the creg to get on the tt track.
There is a bus stop within half a mile we used once.
One improvement I would recommend would be to add a sign on the main road for moaney woods. Was a little awkward to find in the dark and rain on arrival and taxi drivers struggled to find it to pick us up.

Our friends stayed for 7 nights in this newly refurbished cottage. Everything was simply perfect! Beautiful property, done to high standards with a super luxurious feel to it. The location is incredible - close to Laxey village and beach (a visit to The Shed and The Gelato Shed is a must!), yet surrounded by nature, sea views and a wonderful large outdoor space with picnic table. Whoever gets the en-suite master bedroom is in for a real treat with the patio doors leading onto the lawn, stunning! The owners live on the site in a seperate house and are really lovely but they don’t intrude at all - it’s all very quiet and private. Communication has been really good - Island Escapes can’t do enough for you to make your stay perfect. Highly recommended!
