Three of us had a fantastic stay in this beautiful location.
One struggles with his mobility so it was an ideal place to stay.
A beautiful view to wake up to looking over to the sea.

It was an excellent location, excellent weather for April, and all ways excellent. It is difficult to add any further comment , as we were delighted to have stayed, and so we have booked a return visit.

Beautiful location and property is well equipped.

Information pack from Island Escapes was very comprehensive and helpful.

Some constructive comments as follows:

1. The gates to the driveway open outwards onto the road. Why? Very inconvenient for getting in and out especially as Laxey Promenade is so busy.

2.The property would benefit from decent curtains in the bedrooms. There are slatted blinds in 2 bedrooms and flimsy curtains in the other, which meant is was very light in the mornings and we were awake far too early!

A beautiful cottage in Laxey, I can't praise it highly enough. Comfortable, well equipped and just like home - but with an incredible view.

We had a great stay at Glevum! The location was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and everything you need within walking distance, including the amazing crumble from the shed.
The space itself was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to relax and with it being all on one level it was perfect with two very active toddlers running around. Every amenity you could think of was thoughtfully provided including a high chair in request, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. It is also dog friendly and the walks around Laxey is perfect for you and your dog. The communication with Island Escapes was very responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay even with it being over New Years. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! Would definitely book again.

An amazing weekend spent in Laxey. Excellent communication from Island Escapes regarding check in/out/facilities.
The house was fantastic and the location was great. Beautifully decorated with everything you need.
We took advantage of the sea location with several dips & booked the sauna afterwards.
We felt like tourists, using the tram, walking through the mines, pizza from Mona Lisa, candles from Ginger Giraffe, coffee from The Shed & Sunday lunch at The Shore.
We all had an amazing weekend with lots of memories- thank you Island Escapes.

Beautiful location lovely stylish accommodation had a problem with the heating couldn’t turn the thermostat up it was password protected on our checkout morning the heating had been put on?

No iron and ironing board had everything else though.

We apologise for the heating issue; the controls are set but can be adjusted by a few degrees up to 21 degrees, but we will be sure to add clearer instructions to the guidebook to enhance the user experience. You just can't get a better located property at Laxey beach. It's a wonderful 3-bed art deco house with parking on the promenade itself.

Glevum is a beautiful property in a perfect location. We’ve swam, walked, fished, relaxed. Highly recommend the Italian restaurant, Mona Lisa in Laxey and The Shore pub. Met some fabulous locals and have had the best week. Looking forward to our next visit.
