Cummal Beg is situated in a quiet area of the island between Douglas and Laxey, surrounded by farmland and close to the beautiful Groudle Glen and the Manx Electric Railway.

Excellent accommodation.
All facilities you'll need are on hand.
Nice location with the Manx Electric railway right at the botton of the lane to take you into Douglas or North to Laxey and Ramsey.
Very pleasant hosts who made us feel very welcome.
Will definately be back.

Our family with 2 young children had a great week in the Isle of Man, exploring the whole island from our accommodation. The living area and kitchen combined meant we were all together, with nice window seats looking out. There is separate space to spread out and the balcony allowed us to eat outside a few times. It was nice to explore the fruit and pond in the garden and fields and see the hens and ducks.
Would be happy to return here, because we definitely want to visit the Island again.

no welcome package was provided, shower wasn't clean, cobweb on bedroom light, single bed slats were broken, under the sofa hadn't been cleaned for some time.

Apartment was clean with all the necessary equipment required for our stay, beautifully presented with a lovely view from the balcony. Only downside was the green luminous light from the smoke detector in the main bedroom. Smoke detector in the corridor outside the room and also in the kitchen diner so don’t know why it was necessary to have one in the bedroom. Wore an eye mask for the entire stay and slept well.

Well equipped comfortable accommodation. Welcome pack of bread, milk etc was appreciated.
Had a power cut and the out of hours contact and owners were excellent in keeping us informed and resolving the issue.
Could do with a teapot!!
Public transport easily accessible and frequent giving good access links to explore the island.
A very relaxed enjoyable week

The accommodation was fantastic, perfect location for visiting the Island. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean set in a beautiful garden.

The stairs to the accomodation are very steep and not ideal for anyone over the age 60.Flies were a problem,there were everywhere, the proprieter was a bit loathe about using flyspray too?
Very mismatched furnishings,and it was noisy,people having very little regards to paying guests as if your in their way
Not Recommended.

My friend and I booked the apartment for the crown green bowling festival week.
There is plenty of safe private parking and a quiet rural location.
Everything we needed provided and a warm welcome from the owner.
Just one small thing was that the bed duvets were probably winter tog.
As we stayed in mid summer they were too warm and summer ones would be an improvement.
Wold definitely book again.

It was very clean evything we needed was available. Comfortable beds very spacious. Only downside squeaky bathroom door and not enough plug sockets near mirrors.
