We were very impressed with Beach’s reach. House was conveniently situated a short walk from the promenade. Kitchen had a good selection of crockery, cutlery pots & pans and good quality appliances including a washer dryer. Living room has duel aspect windows, comfortable sofas and a log burner. Bedrooms were bright and airy with duel aspect windows on the first floor bedroom and large Velux windows in the attic rooms. May not be suitable to those with mobility issues as shower is over the bath with high sides, stairs are steep. Living room and kitchen are on two levels due to the steep incline on the street. Carpets were of a good quality and very clean. We loved it.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage in Peel, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 dogs and more than enough room for all of us. Very clean and modern, love the quirky stairs and the teens enjoyed staying on the top floor. Great location for a walk to the beach and pubs, great little charity shop and ice cream place on the prom, fish and chips from the Cod at the Castle was fab. Perfect location to explore the whole of the Island. We were worried about parking but if we couldn't get at the side of the cottage we just parked on the prom it's literally a 2 minute walk. Thank you for another great holiday.

We have booked many flats through island escapes over the past few years and have never been disappointed. It was the same this time: we had a very nice time at Beach's Reach Apartment in Peel. The flat is very nicely located near the harbour, not far from the two small supermarkets in the village or other shops. The living room with the small wood burner and the two sofas as well as the dining area is a wonderful place to relax, the kitchen is very large with all the necessary appliances. The large bathroom was also perfectly adequate for three people, and everything was very clean, tidy and attractive. The two large bedrooms are very comfortable, but the small bedroom also offers a beautiful view of the stars at night through the large skylight. All in all, a perfect place for a perfect holiday on the Isle of Man

A really lovely place to stay! Cosy, with everything we needed, and an amazing location. We weren't quite sure what to do with our recycling so ended up taking it with us, but otherwise no issues. It was lovely being able to bring our dog too- he had the best time ever!

We stayed at Beach’s Reach for a week in August. Booking was straightforward, communications from Island Escapes was through and clear - directions easy to understand and we were delighted to receive a message on arrival to the island saying the house was ready early.

The house is exactly as presented in the photos - clean, well laid out and excellently equipped. All bedrooms are of a decent size, beds were comfortable and there are excellent views of the castle from the top floor room at the front

Bathroom is of a good size, shower has decent pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was really well kitted out with everything you could need, not one of everything or somebody else’s cast offs!

Location is great - one minute walk to either the main shopping street or the beach. In street parking is readily available in nearby streets - we never had an issue finding a space for a very large SUV.

One issue is WiFi - it’s basically non existent. We reset router / followed all instructions but even when it was ‘working’ it was painfully slow. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us as we have plenty of data, but thought worth flagging.

The property was a perfect location to explore the island. There was plenty to do in Peel and as it was so close to the beach front, shops and restaurants we just walked everywhere. The three bedrooms are a good size and worked well for our two teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped and the games and dvds came in handy too.

I would highly recommend this property. It is in an excellent location and only a minute walk away from the beach. This house catered perfectly for a family of 4. It is very well equipped should you want to cater for yourself. It refurbishment and layout is very modern. 5/5 for our family.

Really enjoyed my stay here with friends during April. House was spotless and excellently equipped - it was a lovely touch that some food items had been left for us! We also made use of the numerous films and board games. Rooms and beds were a good size, and bathroom large too. We did find the shower a little slippy! Location was excellent, right in the heart of Peel, very close to Co-op and many pubs, as well as was a minutes walk from the bus stop to get buses to Douglas and Ramsey.
Island escapes were good at keeping in touch with emails and texts, and were responsive to any requests.
I would stay here again, and would also choose to stay with Island Escapes again.

The house is clean and tidy with good facilities. The stairs are typical of an old fisherman's house however so not ideal for elderly or disabled people. The beds were comfortable and the diner/lounge big enough for our party of 5 including a nine year old.
Be aware that there is no parking space and you are on a restricted corner, so be careful when exiting the doors. We parked on the promenade (a couple of minutes away)

Clean and the same as last time we stayed. Crisp packet and a nurf gun from a previous stay behind bed but basic cleaning was great.

The internet doesn’t work and this is the same as last time.

Everything else was great and the welcome pack was a nice touch.

The positives: Easy to find; close to everything you need in Peel; decent living, dining, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom space (for two of the rooms); plenty of pots, pan and utensils; nice touch with the welcome gifts; ample wardrobe space for hanging up clothes; when we had an electrical issue Island Escapes rep came very quickly and was very friendly and helpful.

Suggestions: Glass tables in living room are not kid-friendly; could do with another small small table in the living room; too many fake plants – collect dust and get in the way; washer/dryer could do with an update – drying setting didn't work; bath is very deep - be careful if travelling with someone elderly; no decent drawer storage in the bedrooms; small attic room is way too small for a double bed – should be a single; window seal needs replacing in that room as bad draft got in and my son was cold in the night; bin collection day needs updating in the file – it's Wednesday not Friday; more info on how and where to recycle would be useful; and could do with making it very clear where you can park for free (i.e. without a permit) in Peel - we were able to park outside the back door most days.

A lovely house in the heart of Peel, close to the beach, castle, cafes, shops etc.

We enjoyed the cottage and found it clean/tidy and well equipped.
The wifi wasn’t great quite erratic at times and although this didn’t detract from the break but in 2023 internet access is more and more important.
Possibly adding a couple of foot stools would be appreciated.

Lovely spacious house, very comfortable bed and ideal position for all the local amenities. Just two minor issues. The rear door takes a couple of attempts to lock and a larger bin would be beneficial in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again though.

Beach’s Reach provided an excellent home base for exploring the wonders of the island. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Island Escapes were very responsive and helpful with our questions.

A few recommendations/concerns:
A bath mat to prevent slipping in the tub.
The lock on the kitchen door was a bit finicky when opening from the outside.
The bath drain was a bit slow.
The wi-fi name in the book was incorrect.
A few more bin bags would be nice.
More info regarding what disc zone parking means.

wifi hit and miss sometimes works--- needs sorting !!,
the hoover is a waste of time and doesn't work well, so we coul;dnt clean up ,
couldnt open or close rear kitchen door due to lock not working properly - this needs sorting
- front door also sticks and hard to open, apart from that a pleasant stay

The whole place has been so tastefully decorated, just lovely.

Great place to stay in peel. The house gets damp at this time of year and the layout is different but you get use to it. The back door key can be a bit dodgy.

we arrived at 7pm . i had to double park to unload, then i had to drive around looking for somewhere to park, this is not what i wanted ,the cottage was nice,but don;t book it if you intend driving there,cars nose to tail. the parking problem ruined my short stay on this wonderful island.
