At Pargys is a charming, mid-1800s cottage, enjoying an enviable position in the peaceful hamlet of Fistard, a short walk from Port St Mary, Isle of Man and near beautiful Glen Chass, and the lovely Perwick Bay.

My friend and I visited May 2023. The cottage was lovely. Well equipped and very clean. The area was handy for visiting the whole island as well as what quickly became our favourite place: the Sound. Thank you.

I was visiting family, who live close by, so perfect! Lovely walks and house has everything you need for a short stay. This is the second visit and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Lovely property. Nicely furnished. Log stove welcome in winter. Wonderful location for walks and near to amenities including the picturesque Port St Mary.

Stayed here with our grown up children, plenty of space for all and everything we needed in the house. Very comfortable in a peaceful location and a short walk to Perwick Beach, which is stunning. Would definitely recommend to others.

The cottage is lovely but smells damp and the "double bed" was much too narrow for two adults to sleep on. Otherwise the place is lovely and had everything you need

The house had enough space for us and everything we needed for our stay. The beds are super comfortable and the linen felt clean and fresh. The garden felt secluded and Fistard is very quiet and peaceful.

As with lots of Manx buildings, Pargys is pretty damp, and we had to crank up the central heating on the first night (in July) to chase the cold out.

Two of the bedrooms are upstairs but there is a small back bedroom off the living room (built into the hill). Luckily we didn’t need to use it because it absolutely stank of fox. This is a bit strange as there are no foxes on the Isle of Man, and there wasn’t much else in the room other than the bed.
