On arrival kitchen floor at sink was full of water no mop. Floor wet again next day on further inspection water leaking from pipe under sink. Been like that a long time as cabinet was out of shape due to leaking water
Dust and cat dog hairs in bedrooms. Tried to hoover no suction. Crumbs on bed side cabinets dirt in bathroom corners. Every room had cob webs and dirt in corners. Sink upstairs thick with dust. Main bedroom carpet full of dirt and hairs. Stairs carpet not hoovered. For our arrival and amount we paid seemed no cleaning even done. Couldn't sleep in room itching from pet hairs and dust. Didn't report as expected this basic cleaning to be done for our arrival and amount we paid.

We stayed at Ard Lee for 8 nights. The location of the cottage is perfect for access to Castletown, local shops and local transport. The people we met on the island were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, but had a musty smell to it. It was also very cold. Prior to our stay we had been told we could park outside the cottage, however this was not possible as the street was narrow and if we had parked there the street would have been blocked. We did find parking on nearby streets two to five minutes walk away.

A thermostat is available on the radiators, and we'll aim to adjust these before guests arrive in the future.
