A truly unique property in the Lake district, for large groups of family and friends to relax and enjoy in a remote setting but with local amenities just a mile away.

The Oaks boasts 12 bedrooms, with a palatial open-plan kitchen, extensive dining room, lounges, two TV rooms, hot tubs, a Sauna and uninterrupted views within an acre of private garden and woodland area.

The main entrance opens into a hallway that is lined by decorative oak panels, which came from St Marys Church in Windermere. The rich panelling is a fitting start to the rest of this beautifully appointed holiday property.

we are a family group of about 20 people and were the first visitors to the house when it opened. we have been going back every year since so i think that speaks for itself and we are booked in next year already. even though you are in a large group the house is big enough for individuals to have time to themselves but we tend to live in the kitchen come dining area with the views across the hills. I would fully recommend it.

A great time with all our family at the Oaks,a special mention to Martin the maintenance man,called him to help find a wedding ring lost in a bathroom,came straight away with his tools and really saved the day,thanks again to all the staff
