Very secluded and quiet accommodation (exactly what we like). Warm and comfortable inside, well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable bed. Would have liked an outdoor garden area but did sit just outside the gate with great views across the fields. TV was not ideal as it was quite small and mounted fairly high up in the corner of the lounge/kitchen. Owner had left a welcome selection of tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, marmalade and shortbread which was much appreciated. We enjoyed our time in Essex and managed to do everything we had hoped to do despite rather variable weather. Thank you for our stay.

You have everything you need, beds are comfy. Minor comments, a hand towel in the kitchen would be good, the TV is a bit small as it's a fair distance from the sofa. Lastly this is disabled specific, the rugs in the room aare all a trip hazard. Personally I think the barn would be better with no rugs.

A larger sign at the bottom of the driveway would be a help locating the cottage. Our sat nav didn’t seem to recognise the postcode and took us too far. Fortunately we found some friendly locals who gave us directions.
An outside space to sit in the sun would have been nice but it was a lovely cottage and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location. A bit out in the sticks. Very comfortable especially in the winter time. Have to come back in the summer.

After reading such good reviews we were surprised to find the property and contents in such poor condition. Some of the kitchen equipment was not usable or inappropriate.

Wonderful place to stay and close to lots of different places to visit. The kids loved Wyvenwood and can’t wait to go back
