We had a really lovely stay in The Yurt — it had everything we needed and was so warm and cosy, even in November. The hot tub was brilliant, especially for a bit of star gazing in the evenings. The attention to detail throughout was fantastic, and we really appreciated the little touches — including the wagon to ferry our things from the car to The Yurt. We had a wonderful week staying at the Milking Parlour in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The location was perfect, offering easy access to Ipswich and charming surrounding villages. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape to the countryside!
Loved our stay at The Woodshed The accommodation was perfectly clean, modern with an old fashion twist, set in the most safe and peaceful location We enjoyed the walks in the bluebell woods and The Woodshed is situated perfectly for visiting the surrounding small villages The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the bathroom towels smelt wonderful All these little touches make a very welcoming breakaway and I’m looking forward to returning to that patio listening to the birds whilst drinking my delicious wine from the welcome basket
We had a really wonderful stay at The Calf Pens. There was so much attention to detail that we wanted for nothing. It was clean, comfortable, extremely well laid out and had plenty of books and board games to entertain us. The owners had carefully and thoughtfully put together interesting places to visit and provided information for local pubs/restaurants. All these touches enabled us to have a relaxing stay. A peaceful location on the edge of the forest and a few minutes walk from the river. Spacious property ideal for our family gathering. Good sized double bedrooms with excellent ensuites. Well equipped kitchen. Icing on the cake a large and warm swimming pool.

Aspen Loft is a beautiful place to be. We adored the colourful décor of the loft! It has such a warm & cosy atmosphere. A welcome break from the fast pace of life. The surrounding area gives you the opportunity to explore the great outdoors, slow down and relax. The welcome pack and other niceties were so thoughtful. Our superb hosts Kate, her husband and the dogs were very welcoming. We highly recommend Aspen Loft to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.
Arrived to a warm and welcoming cottage. Dove House is tastefully furnished and very comfortable with everything we needed. The garden was absolutely delightful, private with table & chairs and bbq. Great to sit with a glass of wine listening to the birds surrounded by fields. We enjoyed being able to walk along the lane to The Bell in the local village of Kersey, very little traffic. Visited Beth Chatto gardens, Dedham with a lovely walk along the river Stour to Flatford Mill, Lavenham and Long Melford. Great places to wander and have coffee & cake. Warm, comfortable, extremely spacious and had everything we needed - including a welcome pack for the dog! Highly recommend this beautiful property.
We cannot fault the cottage for those looking for peace and quiet in a lovely spot. Although along a narrow unmade up track this is easily negotiable and there is hardly any local traffic to contend with. The bedrooms are both lovely and the whole house is quite light inside and also warm. We managed to sit outside in the sun a few times despite the howling cold wind in late April. There are lots of lovely villages and gardens nearby to visit and really 2 weeks are needed to do the area justice.
Box Cottage is an awkward shape but it works. Decent kitchen with comfortable dining and sitting rooms. Garden very pleasant when the weather cooperates. Upstairs is a bit more challenging with the back bedroom tight around the bed, but both beds are very comfortable. Good, central location in the village but a shame The Angel is now just a venue as The Crown can be slow and the food not terribly memorable. Village shop a real bonus.
A little gem set in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Will definitely be going back.
My sister and took our dogs to the Temple for some much needed rest and relaxation. It far exceeded our expectations in so many ways! A meticulously restored historical building with all the modern touches you could need. Not a neighbour in sight with stunning views across Euston estate. Huge private enclosed area perfect for the dogs to run and pin drop silence all around! Many thanks to the Duke & Duchess for deciding to rent this as a holiday home. A charming and distinctive property in an absolutely gorgeous setting. It was so peaceful: walks direct from the door were plentiful and returning to the comforts of the Mill a delight. We had a wonderful week and would recommend the Mill without hesitation.
The Hayloft is extremely well presented, with a blend of the old, retro, new features and decor. The location is perfect for walks, sightseeing and discovering the local history. What made it extra special for me was the fact that i am a massive fan of the Lovejoy TV series from days gone past. to be able to stay in his workshop, in the grounds of Belchamp / Felsham Hall, was a dream come true. Would highly recommend a stay there. Thank you for making it part of a perfect experience.
We wanted a long weekend base for ourselves, our daughter, husband and 2 very small grandchildren (aged 2 and a baby aged 10 weeks) and their friends to join us - it delivered on every front. The house is an Elizabethan gem, a privilege to stay in, surrounded by a moat, which adds to the uniqueness. The grounds are beautiful - particularly around the house and summer house - with lovely lavender and roses, in full bloom. This is a really special place and everything was perfect. Stylish, well equipped, comfortable and in a beautiful, tranquil location. Dog walks were literally on the doorstep which as well as being convenient, was ideal to explore the surrounding countryside. Am already thinking about when I can return...
A lovely quirky cottage, really cute. Warm and cosy with a log fire. Dog friendly too. The stairs from the middle level to the kitchen and lounge floor are a little steep. But still a great place to stay.

Had a relaxing 5 days at the coach house. Well equipped, beautifully renovated. Perfect location to explore the rest of Suffolk.
Our recent stay at The Tryst in Lavenham was nothing short of enchanting. We had a nice stay at your little cottage. The Christmastree was a plus and the beds were very good. Not everything was clean in the kitchen and the seats in the living room has got their best time, not good for the back. It's a bit pricey ...
Duke's lodge is simply lovely and cosy with a well equipped kitchen/dining room and very comfortable beds. Quirky as can be so mind your head. Ceilings are high enough but the doorframes...... Located (almost) on the village market square and at crawling distance to two great pubs. Sunday lunch at the Crown was perfect. Walks aplenty e.g. to the nearby village of Chelsworth with also a great pub. Suffolk is very nice and picturesque with lots of things to see and do within a half hour's drive. Bury st. We had a lovely week over Christmas - the cottage is very cute (smaller than it looks in the photos) but is ideal for a couple. Warm comfortable and a great location in the centre of Lavenham.
Lovely village and location but cleanliness could be improved especially kitchen stuff. Feels like it needs a deep clean.
