Liked the Denby crockery. Glassware and cutlery were all excellent
Small non-stick pan was in poor condition - did not use for this reason and just improvised with the 2 larger pans.
Handy electronic balance for weighing food.

Losing count now, I think it's the 4th time we have visited this property. Have also visited 3 of the 4 other properties offered by Duffus Estate. Fishermans Rest is nicely located in the heart of Lossiemouth. Everything is close to hand, with lots of attractions within reach when venturing further afield.

Fantastic stay meeting up with family over the Easter weekend. From ease of booking, great communication and wonderful welcome the whole lead up to the stay was excellent. The accommodation was brilliant, super comfy bed and surprisingly spacious. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. We will be back.

Great deal, very competitive price. Helped that I booked at short notice but it's still very good value.
Good size place for a single traveller.
Great communication with owners who ironed out a minor issue very easily.
Location is ideal. 150 yards to Co-op. 250 yards to takeaway options. 400 yards to beach.
I didn't check properly beforehand but wonder if a dishwasher might be more useful than a washing machine. Appreciate there's only room for one or the other and aware other travellers may say the opposite.
Will definitely book again the next time I'm looking for a base for further trips to the Moray Coast.

Hi, thanks for your review. I fully take on board your comments regarding dishwasher vs washing machine. Unfortunately space dictated that we had to make a decision which one to go for, eventually picking a washer/drier as guests can wash up dishes in the sink. I am pleased to hear this hasn't put you off coming to stay again. We would be delighted to welcome you back.

The flat is beautifully decorated and has all you need for your stay, without losing the character of the building and area.
It was very handy for shops, restaurants , take always , the beach ( stunning beach which goes on forever) and for seeing my daughter.
