We stayed at this beautiful cottage with stunning views across the River Dart in August.
The interior is beautifully finished with lots of lovely pictures adding to the coastal feel, perfect for it's location!
The kitchen had all the utensils you'd ever need with lovely smelling and non-toxic cleaning sprays which was very much appreciated.
We spent the mornings and evenings on the stunning terrace watching the comings and goings of boat life on the River Dart (and what a location to watch the Eclipse!)
Most of us found the beds very comfy, with fans in two of the bedrooms (a third one would have been appreciated aswell) The one bathroom upstairs and toilet downstairs was very handy for 6 of us staying.
Parking is abit restricted on the road below (can't park between 10am-11am or 2-3pm but can all other times for free) but we just made sure we were out doing sightseeing or moved it up to the upper road up the hill which was free for the whole time.
Kingswear was a lovely base as had a couple of cafes and pubs and convenient local shop, which was open until 10pm. With a quick car or foot passenger ride over to Dartmouth if you wanted more shops etc.
The service from Dart Valley Cottages was excellent with clear and concise instructions via email. They also quickly answered our call when we had a query about putting the bins out!
We would very much like to visit again even though it's only and hour from where we live, as there are some stunning beaches and walks.

From the start of the booking process, to the moment we closed the door at the end of our holiday, everything was perfect.
Very comfortable, extremely clean and well presented house, with everything you could ask for. Perfectly located with great views.
Don’t just head straight to Dartmouth.
Make sure you grab a pint and a meal at the Steam Packet and also the Ship.
The little Italian wine bar is also fab, and brunch at the coffee shop is delicious
