The Gardner’s Cottage was the perfect holiday. A lot of properties accept dogs, but are barely tolerable. Pete & Kath really aimed to be dog friendly with amazing amenities. The cottage was clean, well stocked, huge garden, and less than 5 minutes to Cardigan. I’d highly recommend it!
We had an excellent week at Sherwood house. The weather couldn’t have been better with plenty of local beaches to visit. The house itself couldn’t have been better equipped with the most generous of welcome packages we’ve ever had. The Ferry inn 3 doors down was visited 3 times and had very good food with excellent service. Unfortunately the highly rated Italian in Cardigan we had booked cancelled us last minute due to a burst water main.
We have been visiting Aberporth for around 15 years and have stayed in many different holiday properties over that time. Without hesitation, Headland Cottage is the best we’ve experienced. From the moment we booked until the day we left, every aspect of the experience was exceptional. Before we arrived, Kate personally called to check that we’d received all the joining information and to answer any questions. It was such a thoughtful touch and immediately made us feel welcome.
