The Garden House is a beautiful example of a Grade II listed Queen Anne period house which boasts elegant interiors, an opulent living area with an open fireplace and a stunning outside space to include two lawns and a historic 17th century carp pond. Located in the pretty village of Ebrington, this wonderful property is a real tranquil escape to the country where you can be at one with nature.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Queen Anne house with outstanding views. Very peaceful and private yet only a few minutes walk to the picturesque and quiet village of Ebrington, and just a ten minute drive to Chipping Campden. Loved relaxing in the grounds and watching the wildlife and birds, a treat to come back to its comfort and facilities after great local walks.

Everything as pictured, beautiful rooms and setting; the main beds were really comfortable, twin beds less so. Everywhere was very clean. A few items needed in the kitchen (and we didn’t find the mentioned starter pack so we bought black bags, foil etc) but it’s a really beautiful house and location and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone wanting peace, beauty and comfort.

We have loved the environment and the location and the lovely architecture and garden of the house for our family reunion!
Our hosts were very friendly and gracious. There are so many walks, restaurants and opportunities for adults and kids visits in the area.

Some observations that are intended to be helpful:
Some updating in the house would be wonderful for long stayers who plan to cook as we did every night. The very old kitchen sink and above oven vent would be my first recommendations for replacement. The vent has no filter, so brown grease drips on the food. The above oven light stopped working after two weeks making this is a dark corner.
All this was reported.
The upper bathroom carpet could be removed to be more sanitary.
Would suggest if house empty for many months between lets, as for us it was, that carpets and curtains are fully and deeply cleaned.

That said, we have very much enjoyed our stay chez vous en famille with our granddaughter and new grandson!
