A lovely cottage situated in a very attractive Cotswold village. Perfect to accommodate 8 adults for a couple of nights celebrating an 80th birthday.

Well, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The cottage was warm and cosy, very comfortable and we couldn’t have picked a more convenient location if we tried.

The friendly, welcoming pub which is literally a stones throw from the front door was a significant bonus feature too!

The kitchen had a really nice clean and modern feel which m wasn’t out of place against the other traditional features of the property.

A lovely roaring open fire made it even more cosy!

The main bathroom was a little tight for space
but it certainly isn’t something id make an issue out of as it was clean and practicable!

We were initially worried that with no off road parking we might encounter some issues but we always found a spot to park whenever we returned from a day out.

I would not hesitate to return to Bank Cottage and have already recommended it to a number of our friends and family.

Spent a long weekend here with my mum and sister. The cottage was spotless and beautifully furnished, retaining old charm with modern additions. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding!! Stairs are steep and bathrooms very snug.
The cottage is located in the heart of the picture postcard village making it very photogenic. We stayed during remembrance weekend and chatted with very friendly locals on the green, at the beautiful little community shop and at the pub just opposite (Sunday lunch very good with the best bread and butter pudding we'd ever had!) Everybody was so friendly. The village is small and very peaceful.
We were blessed with autumn sunshine and walked an 8 mile circular to Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Hill, past Batsford Arboretum and Seizencote; a mostly flat field walk.
Parking is on the lanes, if there is nothing immediately on the green then there is plenty as you drive down by the school. We had no problems. If you arrive in dark, beware you have to walk across the sloping green to get to the cottage so torch/phone torch necessary.
Teeny grumbles: the heating system was very noisy and did wake me up at 6am, no bread knife and we had to buy matches to light the fire.
