Excellent house and surroundings. This was our 5 time we stayed here.
Very comfortabel house with everything you need, it feels like coming back home each year.

We stayed at the old dairy 9 years ago and it was as good, if not, even better than before. We love this house so much and its location that we cannot fault it in anyway. Such a welcoming and comfortable property we hope to return again in the future. No where more beautiful than the Cotswolds and Stanton is such a gem.

Beautiful house with lovely private garden. Every convenience you would need.
If we have any comments we would say the bathrooms need a little TLC, as black mould on the sealant and grouting. We did notice a leaking gutter on the rear of the house over the kitchen, which will damage the timber if left.

Lovely house in a very picturesque village.

Very well appointed house, we instantly felt ‘at home’.

The garage is great for parking, with access straight into the enclosed garden, which was great for our dogs.

Would definitely book again, thank you!

What a wonderful holiday in the Cotswolds, we highly recommend The Old Dairy!
The house has wonderful homely feel and was perfect for dogs and children.
Everything you could want is at the cottage and it made for a relaxing stay.
The location is great, in a beautiful village and as nearby bigger places if you want to explore.

The house was beautifully presented on arrival and lovely and warm. Lots of little extra touches. Village is beautiful but need to drive out to shops and activities. Could do with an overhead shower in the en-suite. Overall a lovely house and would stay again.

We were delighted with our stay at The Old Dairy. The house was lovely, well furnished and catered for all our needs as a family of grandparents, parents, grandchildren and a dog. The location was equally good, with lovely walks within easy reach.
We recommend The Old Dairy and hope to return again.

We really enjoyed our short break at the Old Diary in Stanton. Everything about the property for us was perfect even down to the novel act of putting my car away for the duration of the stay inside the spacious double garage! The photos whilst inviting still don't do the 'feel' of the Old Diary justice. For busy city dwellers with stressful jobs our stay felt like a much needed 180 and renewed us physically and spiritually; in many ways it was a lot more than simply a short break, the peace and quiet the Old Diary provided gave us time for some deep reflection on our own lives, paths and goals. I can sum up the Old Diary in one word 'Idyllic'.

The old Dairy is simply a gorgeous cottage set in a gourgeous little pretty street of the little pretty Stanton.
It really is a Dream Cottage and you will never want to leave. So cousy, confortable and neat.
The fireplace, the christmasy livingroom, the huge kitchen..fantastic!
Also the kitchen is fully equipped for everything you need as everything else.
The location is also great if you want to explore the Cotsworld and its wonderful villages.

The owners have been so kind to leave the instruction for everything we would have needed (fireplace starter, garbish, garage and so on).

If we must find a little flow then it's the mainbedroom's bed: really really to small for two people.
Anyway there are 2 more bedrooms if the room in the bed doesn't allow you to rest properly.
Beside that everything was just amazing and we would really love to come back!

The house is beautiful, I’ve never seen such a fully equipped kitchen in a rental property and you won’t want for anything here. It’s a very spacious well thought out home and the garden is fully enclosed so perfect for travelling with a dog.
The only issue we had - though sadly one that marred our weekend and would stop us returning - was parking.
It’s advertised as parking for 2 cars. The email with the instructions you receive the week before then says parking for 2 ‘medium’ sized cars and if they don’t fit in the garage then there is plenty of on street parking or a free car park nearby.
Neither of our cars fit in the garage, there wasn’t room on the street and the ‘car park’ is a section of field in front of the village hall (which fills up in the daytime). Arriving on a Friday evening there is no outside lighting and the car park - albeit is a 4/5 minute walk - that’s down a country lane with no lights or pavement. We managed to get one in the car park and the other left us with an altercation with a neighbour who told us that technically we were on their land (but didn’t need us to move as we weren’t causing an obstruction and they were going away anyway). With a 10 month old baby this just made things difficult and uncomfortable and sadly tainted our weekend.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage.
The location was perfect for us to visit our favourite places. The village is second to none !
The cottage has everything you need & Jo is on hand if you have any problems.
I would say a few things need updating particularly the bed linen but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
We have booked again for next year & look forward to it very much .

Everything about this property impressed. It is situated in a lovely peaceful village with little passing traffic. The instructions for entry were simple and clear and when we got in, the Old Dairy was really beautifully furnished and equipped. It was warm and welcoming, spacious and comfortable, and furnished in impeccable taste. .
The living room had comfortable sofas and plentiful seating, with a log fire which we didn’t need to light as the whole property was warm and cosy. We found everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen, again with lots of seating and a view out into the garden. Everywhere was really clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were well designed and there was constant and plentiful hot water.
We were out most days, but we were really pleased to get back to this beautiful and comfortable property. All in all, we were really delighted with our stay.

This was our second stay and it really is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet village which we love. Great meal in the local pub.
I would agree with previous reviews regarding the front door lock/key. It was not easy to lock the door from outside. The rear of the fridge/freezer needs a bit of a clean and I was a bit disappointed that the log burner was unavailable to use even tho it is the middle/late October. However I will certainly return as I just live the house.
