The photos don’t do the outdoor decking justice. We spent ages sitting out looking at the rolling countryside and sea & cliff glimpses and watching the sunrises and sunsets. It’s south facing so easy to bask in the sun and doesn’t feel at all overlooked by any of the other accommodation. Tapnell Farm itself is amazing and perfect for our little ones - guest services were really lovely, unlimited free fresh eggs were a nice touch. Lots of useful essentials provided like a little isle of wight milk and tea, coffee, cafetière, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and sponges & cloths. The lodge itself is quite nice, needs a few tiny finishing touches and the oven sets off the fire alarm plus there are flies but it is the countryside!

Beautiful stunning location.
Booked a last minute break for my two boys and husband for one night. Lovely lodge, everything you needed for the 4 of us. Available early .
Super comfortable bed in the left hand room. My son wasn't keen on bed in his room. Made noise every time he moved.
Couldn't find a chopping board. Also a lack of toiletries, two small bars of soap.
Would have expected more.
We didn't use the farm park or other activities as these didn't cater for our age range of children. 14 & 8. Aqua park and football golf were our options, but neither appealed. My 8 year old was happy with the football goals on site. Communal fire pit was great too.
Would come back.

Very clean and comfortable. Clear directions for check in and all facilities easy to use. Despite being next to the farm park it was so quiet and peaceful. The view is unbeatable!
