Superb well equipped cottage in delightful village, with excellent local pub.
Stairs to two of the bedrooms could be a challenge for small children or the elderly.
The cottage is ideal for both Summer and winter visits....warm and cosy with beautiful outside space.

We had a great time at The Chestnuts. It’s very clean, well equipped and in a great location.
The only criticism I would have is it’s very hard for everyone to sit comfortably together to watch the TV. I think it would be possible to get another smaller sofa in the main sitting room?
The original staircase is an amazing feature. 3 out of 4 people I was travelling with struggled to get up and down them. A proper handrail would help and I think it should be mentioned in the details. Having made this honest comments we otherwise loved the house and had a very special time celebrating our birthdays!!

Absolutely amazing cottage and location. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here and a visit to the pub across the road!
