Super stylish, comfortable, quiet, roaring fires, lovely walks, great for kids - so relaxing. Visited Cirencester and the wildlife park, but really didn’t want to leave the cottage. A real home from home, Bella (4) loved her room and all the lovely toys.
This has been our second stay at Apple Cottage. We love the location and the cottage is very well provided for, and very tastefully done throughout. Good kitchen and comfortable beds. We will be booking again.
We stayed here at the end of February to celebrate a friends marriage. It was the perfect stay, on arriving don't be wary about driving into a farm because as soon as you enter the property you will be wowed. The main house is stunning and the perfect space for entertaining, the ktichen well stocked and enough cutlery to fit the enormous dining table. A very nice property, well furnished and appointed. Good location to explore Broadway, Morton in Marsh etc. Lots of good walks around the area. Pub in the village is friendly, dog friendly and serves good food.
Lots of room for the 12 of us and comfy bedrooms though a couple of the sofas were uncomfortable to sit on. We enjoyed the table football and the sound system. A large proportion of the crockery/glasses were chipped but loads of plates etc which was great. The end bedrooms of the house had heating problems but this was quickly sorted by the owner. Great walks directly from the barn. Front door kept on blowin...more
lovely cottage in a good location
It would be more flexible if one of the bedroom had a larger double bed and the other bedroom twin beds rather than two standard doubles and an open fire would be great otherwise a very well appointed property
Bay Tree was a lovely cosy cottage for a short break. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. However, cottage was dusty and hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time which was very dissapointing considering the cost. Time to change the Housekeeper I think.
