Our second sty at St. Michael’s was again perfect. St. Michael’s has it all…an excellent location, on its own and for a visit to the Cotswolds. Broadway is a really good size so you have access to everything that you need and is extremely walkable. The cottage itself has everything that you need, is extremely comfortable and has a backyard and garden that is spectacular. Our group, which has traveled together for 25 years, agreed that St. Michael’s is a very special place and recommend it without reservation.
This is the third time we have been to Grooms cottage. It is in an excellent location in a beautiful village. The cottage is comfortable and has everything that you need. Safe private parking is a bonus. I would recommend this cottage.
My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Nellie's Barn. The property is outstanding! Pristine clean, amazing location, safe location, delicious welcome pack and Debbie the host was such a lovely lady. I cannot recommend Nellie's Barn highly enough and we will definitely be back.
We had a great stay at Alysas cottage and it was a perfect location for us, out in the countryside with a central location. The cottage was spacious and clean with all the equipment we needed. The hosts were brilliant and helped us with suggestions on where to eat out and were very friendly and welcoming.
Superb well equipped cottage in delightful village, with excellent local pub. Stairs to two of the bedrooms could be a challenge for small children or the elderly. The cottage is ideal for both Summer and winter visits....warm and cosy with beautiful outside space.
Comfortable property in a lovely location. It was great for short drives to lots of pretty locations nearby. The village itself is lovely as well, with the added bonus of a well stocked village shop, lovely cafe and a nice pub. My only negative comment would be the property was rather dusty.
Spacious and characterful house with a lovely riverside view. Well equipped and furnished. Couple of things to note: the property is in a boat yard, so the approach isn't grand, but once inside it's very nice and the garden is a cool spot in a heatwave. This stretch of river is popular as a cooling off spot for families so on weekends so can be noisy. Bidford-on-Avon is nothing special but there are plenty of nice places nearby. Apple Cottage is in a wonderful location and provided an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. The patio and garden are particularly attractive and were a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few areas where the cottage did not quite meet our expectations. We were disappointed that there was no welcome hamper on arrival, particularly after a long journey from California. I take great care to search and find the perfect cottage for us, when we travel to the UK. We always rent a car, but decided for this return trip to The Cotswolds , we would try without. I chose Fairfields based on its proximity to the train station and High Street, yet on a quiet street, its walks from the front door, and how comfy-cosy it looked. Also we love a nice outdoor space, It was prefect! Even the grocery store, a few minutes’ walk away, and next to the train station, couldn’t have been more convenient, ( let alone the bakeries around the corner) walking through a little park on ...more
This is a great house. If anything, it is better than the description. There were 11 of us and there really is room for 5 (average sized) cars. It's location is also great, and you can walk along the river to reach the centre of Bourton.
The cottage has everything you need, although I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are very narrow and steep.
Great house , perfec holiday. Area in the Cotswold are wonderful for a unbelieveble holidays. will come back,
On the whole we enjoyed the location and the cottage. However several small details let the cottage down. Kitchen equipment needed a revision and updating (things like oven glove not there) and oven needed cleaning. Frying pans past their best. However the location was very peaceful and the cottage comfortable but for the price paid some updating needs to be done.
We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage. Communication with owner was great and everything was as described. Would definitely return!
We had a great time staying at Corner Cottage. It has absolutely everything you could need so you don’t need to take any extras, and is beautifully set out. Location wise it is perfect as you are not too far away from tourist attractions, pretty villages & small towns, and it’s very peaceful.
